Just got back from a two week dive trip to Palau. I used this dive retractor with no problems and my console did not hang down too far like it used to with the weaker, cheaper ones.
I would most definitely recommend this product.

this retractor may seem a bit large but it works well ihave a heavy console and have used smaller retractors that could not keep it up close , this one does a nice job keeping it from dangling , i clip to a d ring on my bc up at my chest just a slight pull and i have all my info right in my face really good buy!!!

I use this to hold my console to BCD. works great very strong and allows console to retract back even under water.

the build quality is top notch. and the retracting force is quite impressive. but, for me, its just too big. its bigger than the things i need to hold. ill keep them around for different things, but im primarily using a junior force retractor now. if you need to hold something big and dont mind a little size, this is definitely the retractor to get.

I bought this retarctor based on the reviews. Finally got to test it out in the deep blue and it performed very well. It held my gauge console nicely. It has enough retract power to hold the console from dragging and still allow easy access as needed. I wish it was a bit smaller but all in all a good buy that performs well.

I ordered this retractor for my guages that have a compass, pressure gauge and computer on it. The samller retractors would not hold them up. This one does. It is very much to my liking.

Best retractor Ive bought yet. It is not as big and cumbersome as some have stated. I use it to keep my computer tucked in nice and close on my BC. No more dragging on the rocks. The tension is a perfect balance, holding snug while out of water, yet very easy to draw out while underwater.

This retractor is very durable, and the length is just right, with the brass snap swivel it can be placed anywhere on the bc or connect anything to it with the snap. A must have on the bc and save a dive kit.
