Rating: Max Force is Right

I had an Akona retractor in the right shoulder of my Sherwood AVID that I had a lightweight LED light clipped to for use on daylight dives. I recently switched to an OxyCheq Raider I. The Raider was so much heavier that I couldnt leave the light on my BCD until I was ready to dive as the retractor would pay out 5 cm just from the weight of the light. No problems now. I had to use a bit of elbow grease to get the MaxForce into the shoulder pocket as it is a bit thicker, but it did fit.

Rating: Excellent retractor for a great price
Reviewer: Greg Ricks, Saturday, September 05, 2009
I bought 2 of these to attach to my BC and I hung all kinds of stuff off of them-including an extremely heavy camera rig and they worked great. This was the best price I could find for similar retractors all over the web, so I highly recommend them.

Rating: retracktable

The item I purchased is a durable item. It just seems a little bulky. It was purchased to help streamline my gear and I feel it will work with some minor adjustments on my part. All in all it is a good item to have.

Rating: best addition to my kit
Reviewer: Wayne LeJeune, Monday, March 12, 2007
I use this retractor on my console head and attach to a D ring on my BC. I love that I dont have to unclip anything to read my gauges. Just pull it straight out, read it and let it retract back into place. No drag, no wasted motion, and one less thing to worry about.

The retractor is very durable and the length is just right. The male connection allows it to connect is various places.
