I thought this book would be very helpful. Instead, it made a great starting block, where my dive buddy and I would invent more specific or other things we wanted to communicate. I reccomend the book, but it definitely doesnt take the place of a well timed conversation with your buddy.

This is a good book but I dont feel most of the signs are something I will use while recreational diving.

Note that these signs are not recognised universally & may differ from your own system of hand signs, but as a general guide its interesting
