Service was prompt, I went for the cheapest shipping and it still arrived sooner than I thought. The entire item is nicely packaged in a blue satchel, suitable for bringing to class or on a trip (waterproof), I actually took it to my EFR class. Beside the book, it comes with patches, decals, and some other assorted PADI gear. All in all PERFECT!

Rating: Easy to follow, half the price

This was my last coruse required for my master diver cert. I take the pool work and open water dives while on vacation in tropical areas. So doing the book work at home before I go is required. The dive center would send the material to me but the cost is twice as much as Scuba.com and I have to pay shipping from Hawaii. I advise this method highly if you live in a place with cold water and you vacation in wamer areas. I live in Seattle where the water temp is around the high 40s to 50s. I am not a dry suit diver so it too cold for me.

Rating: Great Way To Plan Ahead

I bought the Rescue Diver manual a few months before I took the coarse. It gave me time to really learn the material and get in the right frame of mind before I got in the classroom and water to test on the skills. This is a great way to prepare for such an involved coarse. I think this cert. is the most important of the diver certifications, and although it wasnt too difficult to complete, it was the most difficult of the coarses. It certainly helped knowing the material inside and out way ahead of time, so when it came time to deal with the physical part, I could concentrate on that. So plan ahead, buy the book first, do the chapter reviews and study them, then sign up for the coarse. keep divin Thanks

They are great, I was able to buy them here for less than the course would have sold them to me for, and I read everything before the class started and did the knowledge reviews so I could understand everything that was going on.
