the inner tube i purchased fits inside of the red zipper canvas. the tube keeps the canvas afloat which stores extra diving products like defog. the tube also serves as a surface float/down line for my students. i tied a rope to the outer canvas and ped a line to 30 and tied off to a cynder block. when the tube is full, it is stable enough to provide a starting point for the down line!

Heavy duty inner tube makes a rugged stable float. Dont try to use a vinyl pool toy as it will not stand up and they dont have a rugged valve. At first, the tube was lopsided with one section bigger (fatter) than the rest of the tube but it evened out in a couple of weeks. People I know have told me that they have not had to replace this tube after even 12+ years of use.

I am not a connoisseur of fine inner tubes, but this one seems to do the job quite well. I was worried at first that it didnt fit the cover until I brought it to the local car tire air fill and got it filled up...it nicely fills the cover....

Works vey well with the canvas cover and the dive flag pole and flag. SHould be sould as a complete kit.

Larger than I expected, great for holding extra weights, fins when getting in and out, added a flag and it goes wherever we go
