These spring straps have the best mounting system Ive seen. Unlike other types with plastic quick release attachments that are not needed on spring straps, Apollos design bolts through the fin, reducing the chance of breakage at the attachment point. Easy to follow installation instructions are included and available online. These spring straps can be installed on most other brands of fins.

The rubber loop on one of my bio-fin XT got ripped off, I tried gluing it back several times, lasts for couple of dives and than breaks again. So I broke down and bought replacement straps (the fins themselves are built like tank, I think they will last forever!). Straps on the other hand may fail, I got replacement for that case. So far btw my glued loop holds!

If youre handy enough, you can install these spring straps in minutes. Theyre sturdier, more reliable and better looking than any other fin strap out there. In the surf or behind the boat, I slip my fins on and off effortlessly. That is the true test.

I highly recommend these steel fin straps. They were very easily installed and have made fin donning and removal much easier than the stock buckle up straps that originally came with the fins. The rubber heal protector is comfortable and I no longer worry about scrubbing a dive due to a broken fin strap.
