Rating: Great fin straps
Reviewer: Keith F., Sunday, February 14, 2010
I believe that any review should start out by describing the users experience, and the manner in which the product was used. I am relatively new to the world of diving as I had just been certified last summer, and I only completed five boat dives with these straps. I really liked these fin straps because they make it super easy to don and doff my fins. All it takes is a simple pull of the strap handle and to slide the strap either up over the foot or down away from the foot to secure/remove the fins. We had one day of diving where the seas got pretty rough (4-6 foot swells) during our dive, and I had absolutely no problems getting the fins off using one hand while hanging onto the small dive boat with the other arm in those conditions. The stainless steel spring feels like it is fairly heavy duty. The build quality seems to be top notch. The rubber heel padding provides adequate cushion to make these straps exceptionally comfortable. The only drawback is that the rubber padding can slide along the stainless steel spring. However, that does not happen after the foot is secured into the fin. I highly recommend these straps!

Rating: Great spring straps
Reviewer: Charles Rich, Sunday, February 07, 2010
These straps are great with the only exception being that the mount seems to be just a bit too large, making the connection to the fin a little sloppy. They dont fall off, but they seem just a millimeter from doing so.
Overall Im very happy with the straps.

Rating: Ez Spring Fin Straps From Ted and Mary
Reviewer: ted Marthe, Sunday, February 28, 2010
Just returned from Bonaire and we both used our Ez Fin Straps we got from you. We found them to be so much easier to use that the old rubber straps. Our fins are older but still in good shape and did not need to replace them. We have had some trouble on our last two dive trips with the rubber ones breaking. For shore dives these are so much easier to get on then the old straps. We could get a bit deeper in the water so the waves would not roll us over and have no trouble getting them on easily and quickly.A great way to up grade your fins with out getting new ones.

Rating: Spring straps - great product

I ordered these with my new fins and they do run a bit large. I received a pair of medium size that will need to be exchanged for a smaller size but this is a great product for easy on / easy off. They are a quick replacement for the neoprene straps that camwe with the fins.

money well spent. i do not unbuckle mine. simply stretch to put on or take off. very comfortable. i found sizing info on another site and have listed below. my fins are apollo bio size m and my boots are scuba pro (hard sole) size ml/9. i bought the large size spring strap. after 7 dives the only thing i would change is i would have liked to compare the fit of the medium size spring strap. to fit your fin spring strap, put your dive boot into the fin pocket. with a measuring tape, measure the distance from the center of one pin, around your boot heel, to the center of the pin on the other side of the fin. pick the spring strap size that is shorter than your measurement by 1/2" to 1 1/2". below is a list of the actual fin strap sizes: (the measurements are for the spring itself without the buckle) recreational - sm 6" - md 7" - lr 8" - xl 9"

The sizes fit perfect and straps very user friendly. I would recommend every serious diver get them especially if you are a boat diver. Easy removal in water at boat side making it much easier to get back on board and out of the way of other divers.

I highly recommend the addition of these straps to your equipment arsenal. Fins are MUCH easier to don prior to and after the dive! I bought a pair for my girlfriend as well. We both love these things!
