money well spent. i do not unbuckle mine. simply stretch to put on or take off. very comfortable. i found sizing info on another site and have listed below. my fins are apollo bio size m and my boots are scuba pro (hard sole) size ml/9. i bought the large size spring strap. after 7 dives the only thing i would change is i would have liked to compare the fit of the medium size spring strap. to fit your fin spring strap, put your dive boot into the fin pocket. with a measuring tape, measure the distance from the center of one pin, around your boot heel, to the center of the pin on the other side of the fin. pick the spring strap size that is shorter than your measurement by 1/2" to 1 1/2". below is a list of the actual fin strap sizes: (the measurements are for the spring itself without the buckle) recreational - sm 6" - md 7" - lr 8" - xl 9"

Rating: Innovative!

I highly recommend the addition of these straps to your equipment arsenal. Fins are MUCH easier to don prior to and after the dive! I bought a pair for my girlfriend as well. We both love these things!

The sizes fit perfect and straps very user friendly. I would recommend every serious diver get them especially if you are a boat diver. Easy removal in water at boat side making it much easier to get back on board and out of the way of other divers.

Rating: Ez Spring Fin Strap (Pair) Black
Reviewer: Brian M., Saturday, June 20, 2009
These are a great addition to the Imprex Tri-Ex Adjustable Strap Fins - easy to swap out the standard straps, and when you squeeze the release the strap literally flies out of the way for easy fin removal. Well worth the price.

Ive been diving for 5 years, and these are one of the best things Ive added to my gear. Definately makes it easier to don and remove your fins. You can make your own out of bungee cords, but for $20 I think it was worth saving myself the time.

Rating: Comfortable and Functional
Reviewer: Zig V., Sunday, June 07, 2009
At first I thought the metallic spring mechanism would be rubbing against my skin, but the arch of the spring keeps it away. The fin strap provides a constant pressure and enough give to make them about as comfortable as one could imagine. So far Ive used them three times. After an hour or so, it is quite evident that they enhance the function of fins.

Rating: Spares arent spares anymore

I ordered these as spares for the dive bag. When I got them I installed them to check the fit and liked them so much I decided to leave them on and put the regular Mares straps in the bag. Easy on, easy off and not so much stress on the fingertips as with the Mares quick release.
