Rating: Buy A Size Smaller
Reviewer: LOUIS D.  -  View all my reviews
These springs work great once you get the correct size. I called Scuba.com and they advised me to follow the size chart to purchase the proper size. I ordered them and after installing the first spring, realized that they were too large. I immediately returned them to Scuba.com for an exchange to a smaller size. Unless you are on the very top end of that particular size, I would definitely order the next size smaller.

My old Scubapro Jetfins are still one of my favorite pair of fins and with the addition of the new Innovative Grip Spring Straps they are better than ever. The fit is excellent, and they were extremely easy to install. Scubapro should include these with every pair. Well worth every penny. Took them on a trip last week to St.Lucia and made 8 total dives with them including Supermans Flight at the base of the Peton mountain. Awesome! They are self adjusting with depth so you dont have to worry about them getting lose. One word of advice would be to make sure you get one size smaller than you think you will need. I bought the XL size and they fit perfect on my XXL fins. Do yourself a big favor and buy a pair. You will love the ease of use! Great Diving, Tim

couldnt find the length info anywhere. I ordered a size M and the length is about 25cm. too large for me (foot 8 1/2, scubapro jet fin revo regular, 3mm boots) quality is fine. recommend to buy at least or even 2 size smaller than your first thought.

They look and feel durable nice product. After install I tried them on with a boot and found them feeling just on. Could be tighter. I would recommending 1 size smaller. I have a size 11 foot using them on a Large size Scubapro Jet fins.

Rating: nice product, but VERY big
Reviewer: christopher s.
very nice for my size 12 feet. fit my old daco turbo fins and the installation was a snap. the extra large size is a bit loose on me and would no way fit my son with size 10 feet. i may return the second set that i bought and try to swap them out for a smaller size.

and allow you to wear drysuit boots. Rubber straps do not allow the stretch, in my opinion, for a larger boot. They seem rugged enough, but I have only used them a few times. I think this is my 10th review. Now, how about a $100 gift card.

Rating: Very comfortable
Reviewer: Paul Falten  -  View all my reviews
The straps were easy to install and were very comfortable. In the water the straps make donning the fins in sandy, surf conditions very quick and easy. Sizing might be the only issue. Although I wear size 10 and was told to buy large straps, the straps would be too loose if I didnt wear a 3mm boot.

Questions and Answers for Innovative Grip Tight Spring Fin Strap (Pair):

  • Amir:

Hello, these bands correspond fins of SLIPSTREAM FINS?

Clarke  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Amir, Thank you for your inquiry! The Innovative Grip Tight Spring Dive Fin Strap (Pair) are designed to fit the Ocean Management Systems (OMS) Slipstream http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-113/012042/Innovative-Grip-Tight-Spring-Fin-Strap-Pair.html If you have any questions or wish to place an order, please call us at 1-800-247-2822 or 949-221-9300.

  • Brandon:

Im considering buying these. I have the size large Scubapro Jet Fins and typically wear 5mm dive boots (California/coldwater). What size spring straps are typical for size large fins? It sounds like they may run large in some cases. My normal shoe size is 9 Mens. Thanks for your help!

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Brandon, you are going to want to order the size medium. That size is designed for a size 8-10 boot. Unless you wear a hard sole boot then I would suggest the size large due to the fact the hard sole boot take up more space in the foot pocket. If you would like to place an order or have any other questions please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.

  • Barbara:

OK, I have the size large Scubapro Jet Fins and wear them either with 5mm dive boots with decent but not overly thick soles (California / coldwater) OR, when I wear my drysuit, I wear a size 9/10 mens bootie over the drysuit feet (with a couple of pairs of socks inside). Thats my alternative to having to wear rock boots... So the fins are a little bit loose with the wetsuit booties and a little bit snug with the drysuit. My normal shoe size is 8-1/2 womens, which tends to be around size 6 in mens. What size spring straps would you recommend?

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Barbara, so you have a fin that fits a size (12-13) womens which is ScubaPro size large. If this is correct then I would suggest the size medium spring strap. That should make it a more comfortable fit for you wearing either size of your boot set-up. If you would like to place an order or have any other questions please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.

  • Matthias:

What are the lengths of these straps?. I have XL OMS springstrap that measures 10.5" and they are to big.

Bill  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

For actual lengths on the spring straps you will have contact he manufacturer, http://www.innovativescuba.com/AboutUs.htm

  • Shane:

I need these for a pair of scubapro jet fins size XL and I wear a size 12 deepsee 6.5mm boot. I also wear them with my drysuit boots that are roughly the same size. What size should I order? Thank you.

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Shane, you would need to order the size XL.

  • Lisa:

Hi there, I just found a pair of Aqua Lung US Divers Rocket Fins at a thrift store. I think they are a sz small? ( I couldnt pass up a pair of rocket fins for $10!). I wear 3mm booties and I am a sz 7.5 ladies. What size fin straps should I buy? Mahalo!

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Lisa, for that size foot you are going to need the size medium size strap

  • jinhai:

hi, my foot is 8 and I own a regular jetfin revo with 3mm gull boots. I bought a medium and found its loose. would size small solve the issue? how shorter the smaller is compare to medium?

Aaron  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hi Jinhal With the 3mm boots going down a size on he spring straps will make them fit tighter.
