ABS Plus (Adjustable Binding System)
Easy to adjust, ideal strap tension can be set with one hand. Only one finger is needed to release the side levers and free your foot. With the ABS System your fin stays perfectly adjusted - ready for your next dive!
Even when released, the strap keeps to its original adjustment.
Simply press to close the lever. The foot is held in position.
Left and right side adjustments for perfect heel piece centering.
ABS features a locking system, in which the buckle is secured by means of a simple and effective catch.

i broke one of the two fin strap buckles when i threw the fin up on some rocks. needless to say, i wont do that again! i wnted to replace the broken buckle with one that matched the remaining one. it was a perfect match, was easy to attach to the fin and easy to the strap.

I have tried the spring buckles but none of them fit a small foot, the ABS Plus were the answer. They are easy to slide on the foot and also as easy to remove the fin.

Mares fins are some of the best and the new ABS Fin/Buckle Assembly is so easy to get in and out of. I primarily dive cold water and even with stiff fingers there easy to put on, take off, or adjust.

Newly revised version easier to work and seems more secure
replaces the red/grey buckles. Easier to secure and easier to remove great when wearing my drysuit.
