Very good product, well made, fit well (sizes are accurate, with a rugged sole. Used for 8 days in Bonaire, walking on the coral shores and held up very well. Would highly recommend these boots where a tough, skid resistant soles are needed.

I bought these boots to go shore diving on Bonaire. I love them no rocks or sand in boots and the support was very nice. The rocks and coral would have made it impossible for me to walk to the dive sites.

My wife has tiny feet and finding boots that fit correctly and provide good contact in the fin foot pocket is difficult. The Akona boot meets these challenges. The best part is that she loves them!

Questions and Answers for Akona 3mm Deluxe Heavy Duty Molded Sole Zipper Dive Boots:
Dwight:
Does the heavier sole limit the flexing of your foot while diving? i want a boot than gives more protection to the sole of my foot, but not one that will lead to foot cramps.
Darrick (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Hello Dwight, the hard sole boot is going to be like a tennis shoe sole. So you should have good flex in your foot while wearing them while diving. I ware hard sole boots and have never had cramping because of the boots that I ware. If you have any other questions please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.

It is impossible to say without knowing how snug your current fins are compared to your current boots.
