I was initially a little concerned with sizing as I wear a size 14, but I was happy to find these socks were plenty big. They come up the calf pretty high which was great at helping keep sand out. They are a sock so do not have a hard sole, but I found they still provided plenty of protection against rocks under the water as I walking in and out of the surf which was very important for the location that I was in.

My wife wears a 7 womens. what size
How thick is the sole? She likes to wear them around the house like slippers.

The size I would recommend would be the "Mens 6/Womens 7 Black". The thickness of the sock and sole is 2mm. The only thing on the bottom is a non slip print that prevents any slipping while you walk. Wearing them around the house is a new one for me, you have a hard core diver on your hands =0)
