Hello Frank, if you put your foot in the water wearing these your foot will get wet. You should take a look at the Neosport by Henderson 5mm Explorer Kayak Boots web link: http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-13/002009/Neosport-by-Henderson-5mm-Explorer-Kayak-Boots.html. 2 ? My wife wears a 7 womens. what size How thick is the sole? She likes to wear them around the house like slippers.
The size I would recommend would be the "Mens 6/Womens 7 Black". The thickness of the sock and sole is 2mm. The only thing on the bottom is a non slip print that prevents any slipping while you walk. Wearing them around the house is a new one for me, you have a hard core diver on your hands =0)
Are dive socks what I need to have so I can slip in and out of my dive boots effortlessly? Sorry for the stupid question. I had a pair of booties before and I have misplaced them. Thanks for your help. Greg
For ease of putting the boots on you want a lycra sock not a neoprene. http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-112/110943/Ocean-Quest-6oz-Premium-Lycra-Fin-Dive-Socks.html
wondering if you wear the dive boots when you wear your fins...the dive boots come with the wetsuit package that i am buying...but should i get some socks too... to wear with the fins and, does one get full foot fins in a bigger size to go over the boot or should i get fins with a back strap...
I am purchasing Mares Raptor open heel split-fins for my husband for Christmas and am wondering if a 3mm boot or 3mm body glove sock is the better choice to go with these fins? Also, he wears a 10.5-11 in shoes and am wondering what sizes in the fins and boots/socks you would recommend? Thanks
I have some split fins that are excellent, and I lost my boots. I am going to HI next week and need some replacements. I think ill do a dive or two and a lot of beach entry snorkeling. Due to the warm water, I was considering socks. Will these do the trick or should I just buy another pair of boots? Thank you!
