These boots are awesome! Get one size smaller than what you normally wear because they run a little large. The sole on these are like tennis shoes and I dont only wear them to dive, they are great for walking on the beach and rocks I highly recommend these boots even if you dont plan on wearing them with fins.

Rating: Akona Dive Boots - Size
Reviewer: JOHN W.,
The dive boots function well except that size 9 appears to be big enough to fit a size 10. Also, I had difficulty in getting them out of my fins when exiting the water. Recommending ordering at least 1/2 size smaller...or trying on prior to purchase.

Questions and Answers for Akona 3.5mm Deluxe Heavy Duty Molded Sole Low Top Dive Boots:
Jeffrey:
My tennis shoe size is 10-2E. In your experience is this brand generous in width?
Darrick (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Hello Jeffery, yes it is but I would suggest going up a size in the boot for the extra width. If you would like to place an order or have any other questions please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.
Allan:
What is the difference between the Akona AKBT638 and the Akona AKBT631. They are both 3.5 mm heavy duty deluxe molded low sole? Thanks
Greg (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
The AKBT638 is being discontinued. The 2012 version of the boot is AKBT631. There is a slight difference in the tread design.
