Rating: Great boot

My wife thought these were extremely comfortable and are a perfect match for the Z3 X-Pert Zoom Fins, which see also thoroughly enjoyed. The fin strap fits perfectly above the heel of the boot. The boots are also great for standing on a rocky bottom and make for a great beach shoe.

Rating: Awsome Boots
Reviewer: Joseph Young, Friday, July 31, 2009
Great boots, great price! I wear an 8 1/2 shoe so I ordered the size 8 boot and they fit like a glove. I wear open back fins and I have no problems at all. The hard sole is also great for for beach dives.

Rating: Great low top dive boot/water shoe
Reviewer: Paul E., Thursday, August 13, 2009
These fit/feel great in open back fins, and they are true to size. I had originally ordered a size smaller than I normally would based on several product reviews, but I had to send them back and get my true size. Mens 11 is right on mens 11.

Rating: Local Booties

The boots appear to be great but they dont fit (too large). I went to a local dive shop and found better ones, for my application, that I could try on, offered at a lower price with no shipping charge.

Rating: Excellent traction and very comfortable!
Reviewer: Denise M., Tuesday, May 05, 2009 - View all my reviews
I like to snorkel, ad I purchased these to make entries easier along rocky coasts, and to wear with open-backed fins. They provide excellent traction, fit well with the fins, and are surprisingly comfortable... so much so, that I wore then throughout the day!

Rating: A little hard to clean up.
Reviewer: Linda L., Friday, January 23, 2009
These water shoes, for the most part, perform as described. However, at the time of clean up to pack up and go home, they were a little tedious! I threw them in the washing machine when we got home, and they were like brand new! At first the fit was a little tight, but then my husband realized that they really needed to fit that way.

Rating: Great boots for the price

This were the first boots I ordered in scuba.com. They felt good and everything that I almost took them to my work. But when it comes to my fins from 1990, they are too thick at the front sole that I have to wiggle it a few times.

Came as advertised. Someone else wrote that they thought the boots came a little large. Ill echo that comment and say that I wish I would have gone a size lower. Other than that, the boots worked great in Grand Cayman!

Rating: A little big...

tusa makes quality products, no doubt about that. the material and finish of these boots are very nice. i normally wear a 9 1/2d shoe. i really feel i could have went with a 9 instead of a 10. i know they always say go up if youre a half size, but these boots really feel big on me. the first time i went diving with them i had a heck of a time getting them off. one foot i gave up and just pulled the whole thing off and then put my boot back on. did better the second time i dived with them. just had to make sure i pulled back hard on the strap. the other thing is probably more my fault. i wanted a hard sole boot because im doing a lot of beach entries over rocks and wading to get out to where we can snorkel the rest of the way (its a swim -)) to the site where we actually begin our dive. the hard soles are great for this. theyre thick and i had no problems in that respect. i found that i really have to pick up my feet to avoid getting sand and gravel into my boots due to the low top (i learned to do this also the second time i dived with these boots). if i had it to do over, i would get a high top boot. i asked one of my buddies why they would even make a low top hard sole, since obviously hard sole, youre thinking "beach entry". he pointed out that a lot of people like a hard sole because of the way it fits in the fin pocket. doesnt move around as much as a softer boot. that actually makes sense so im adding that here.
