Rating: Good product
Reviewer: John R.
I used these socks for a week of snorkeling and diving in Bonaire and they worked great. In the past, I have experienced problems with blisters but these socks eliminated that problem. I purchased them one size smaller than my regular shoe size but I wish I had purchased them two sizes smaller. Even though they were a little big, they worked well. I plan to order another pair.

These are nice dive socks. I use them with oversized fins all the time while snorkeling (or long distance swimming with fins ). They are very comfortable and work well in warm climate waters, not to heavy, and not to warm on the feet. They are great protection for water entries that have lots of gravel or coral at the shore line. I got a piece of coral in my foot, which wasnt fun. With these socks your feet are very protected from ocean shore-line obstacles. Pick a few pairs up, in case you lose one ( like I have done )and then take them to a beautiful tropical island and have a wonderful time. Smile.

Just what I was looking for. Easy on and off, perfect for when you need something light while diving in warm water with open heel fins.

Rating: Good fit but:
Reviewer: James C.
I needed to return the first pair beause they were too big. I normally wear a size 9 and ordered a size 8 because of reading the reviews on these socks. The 8s were even too big but the replacement 7s fit perfect (two sizes down?). I use full foot fins on short trips to warm waters and these are perfect for that application. Just what I was hoping for! Excellent.

Rating: Liked them, but....
Reviewer: Karen Gross
I was very happy with the socks, however, I wish I had gotten an even smaller size as once I had them on under my fins, they were a little too big and bunched up in the back of the fin. They did stop the rubbing on the toes in the fins, but were uncomfortable in the heel. I would highly recommend them but if I order then again I will go 1 size smaller than recommended.

Rating: Really loose

Ordered these 2 sizes smaller than my shoe size and here still too big. They work as is, so it wasnt worth sending them back. Just be careful if you like them snug, like I do, Id order 3 sizes down.

Rating: Love These Socks
Reviewer: Carmel H.
I am an avid swimmer and water aerobics participant. Unfortunately, in the winter months, the temperature varies a lot at our aquatic center. And I tend to stay cold anyway. Ive had these socks for about five weeks and absolutely LOVE them. Id recommend them to anyone who is seeking to have warmer feet in the wah-wah! Thanks so much!

Rating: Sexy Scuba Sox
Reviewer: Myra Jackson  -  View all my reviews
I am a senior citizen who requires pool therapy to continue walking at all. I was unable to manage the pool sessions with water shoes from the discount stores or the sports stores- they would not stay on my feet and I got such blisters on the bottnm of my feet from the pool bottom. With these scuba socks, my friends at the pool are awed. These last longer, protect my feet better and are lighter to enable movement. Pool forneds comment on my "sexy scuba sox" all the time! Thanks for a great experience (Myra!)

Rating: Great item
Reviewer: Keelean B.
Just bought these for a trip to Belize and we could not be more pleased! I did listen to the rest of the reviews and bought one size smaller than I wear, and they were right. I always get blisters when we snorkel and we were out 3 whole days and I had no problems. Great item!!

I listened to the rest of the reviews,I wear a 9, bought a 7 and they fit perfectly! I just got back from 19 dives in Grand Cayman and the socks were great, easy on and off.

Questions and Answers for XS Scuba 2mm Low-Top Titanium Dive Socks:

  • Louise:

Hello going snorkeling in Tortola and I want to be prepared with going onto the shore (Im bareboating in that area)will these socks offer some protection with possible rocks, etc.?

Bill  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

These are socks and are not made to walk around in. They offer little protection from rocks or coral. A low top boot will work better.

  • Pat:

If my husband usually wears 8 and a half, should I order 8 or 9?

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Pat, since these items are not made in 1/2 sizes I would suggest you round up to the next size. If you would like to place an order or have any other questions please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.

  • william:

when i wear these socks will it make my fins too tight?

Bill  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

These can be worn with a full foot fin. Try a thick sock like a gym sock with your fins, if that fits ok then these will work fine.

  • Lou:

How tight should these be? Everyone in the reviews suggest ordering 1 or 2 sizes smaller. I wear a size 9W shoe. Should I order a size 7 like everyone suggests? I am looking to stop the chaffing caused by my fins.

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Like any piece of neoprene gear they should be snug. If they are too tight, they will wear out faster. The manufacturer recommends going by your normal sneaker shoe size for sizing and so far we have found this to be quite accurate.

  • Jack:

I have heard other reviews that some of the other booties are slippery when they are wet, so are these safe to walk around in a pool area?

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Jack, theses socks do have a non-slip sole on them. So yes you would be fine walking around the pool in these.

  • Adam:

Hello Could you please let me know the length from heal to toe for mens size 5 to 8? thanks

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

    Hello Adam, the lengths are 5-6" 6-7" 7-8" 8-9"
