Ill be swimming in Alaska this summer, and was wondering what a good suit recommendation is. Ive never bought a wet suit and am not looking for the highest quality as I will only be using it for the summer. What thickness should I get to manage the cold? Are sleeves necessary in that kind of temperature water. 45-50?
Hello Marina, since you will be swimming in that cold of water I would not go with a sleeveless wetsuit. It the temperature range I would suggest a 5mm suit. If you are going to be swimming for longer than 45min in that temp I would suggest going with a 7mm suit.
