I tried 2 other 7mm wetsuits prior to this and had to send them back. ($30 each time!). The Mares 8/6 zipped up in front and I tried for 45 minutes to get it off at home and had to call a co-worker to get it off! No way do I want help in getting a wetsuit off! Also, the stomach area was WAY too big.
The Henderson is just perfect!
Pay attention to the companys individual sizing. Bare is for short people, I think.

The Aqua lock system is Fantastic! Did 5 dives here in the Northeastern US, in this suit. Including one night and one deep dive (74ft). Water temp was 58 degrees. The suit kept me very warm. Im convinced colder water would not have affected me. The interlocking of the suit with the gloves and boots, traps just enough water for your body to warm it and keep it there. My entire dive party complained of being cold, but not me. Fleece lining makes it a breeze to put on even when wet and it dries quick.i highly recommend this suit!

Just got back from Catalina Island, Emerald Bay.
Did 5 dives over the 3 days. Suit was easy to get on and off. Deepest dive was 73 feet and the suit was warm and I was never cold.

Questions and Answers for Henderson 7mm Aqua Lock Hyperstretch Wetsuit:
Any experience using an aqua lock wetsuit and dealing with the need to urinate during a dive? Less water flow, so does urine just stay in the suit? Rough topic, but reality with diving...
Hello, I have started sailing a Hobie wave catamaran. I live on a small lake and right now I go sailing in just a bathing suit however I will want to sail in the cooler fall and early spring weather and I am looking for a wet suit for that reason. So my question is what should I look for? A temperate water or cold water wet suit? I am thinking a full body wet suit would be appropriate. I am looking for something that will allow me to use every sailable day no matter how cold as long as the water is not frozen. Could you make a recommendation. Please be as specific as you can. Note. I am not just talking about being warm on the boat, but in the event of capsizing which by the way I did today for the first time. In 90 degree weather it was fun but in colder weather I am sure I will need some kind of protection. Thanks

Hello Gary, going with a temperate suit you will have better flex ability in the suit and since you are not going to be in the water all the time I think the 5mm section will do very well for you.
I have not had a wet suit in 40 + years. I am a body wramper or body surfer for those who dont know. The last suit I had cause to many rashes in the under arm area to wear for a long time and short shelve suits were no good for cold water.
Are their any suits for me out their? and what is the price range.
