Rating: Good Quailty

Very good product and very cheap for the amount of mm. The only problem was that I am very short and the sleeves were very long on me. If you purchase this product I suggest buying a size bigger then your normal size the suit seems a little smaller then the same size in other brands.

Rating: Mares Wetsuit
Reviewer: Jared Fawcett, Friday, June 26, 2009 - View all my reviews
I bought this suit for my girlfriend. The suit fit fairly well considering her unique features of being 5’2”, having a large top and a smaller waist. There was some slack around her stomach and she said there was a cold spot in the small of her back while diving, but the suit kept her warm in general. She said it was easy to move in and didnt restrict her breathing.

Rating: Great Suit!
Reviewer: Matthew G., Tuesday, March 31, 2009
I primarily dive in the central coast off California and the water is generally cold 40-50s, this suit is perfect for it. Even on a cloudy day putting on my suit I was warm and when I got into the water I didnt even notice the cold at all. It is easier to put on and off than other suits I looked at. But I did have some trouble ziping it up. I am 511 and 185lbs. and I got the Large and it fits good. I think the XLarge would have been too long in the legs and arms.

Rating: Warm

This suit is so easy to don and doff. It is really warm, as I am a Northern CA, diver. Water temps about 50, and I was warm. The zipper and the knee pads are my only complaints. Not much for knee padding and the zipper takes a buddy to get up. Overall, Id buy another one.

Rating: Great Wet Suit
Reviewer: Mark F., Monday, December 29, 2008 - View all my reviews
I love the fit of this wet suit. I am on the upper end of the small size chart and this suit fits great. The sleeves are a little long but that holds true for every shirt I own so I think the sizing is very accurate. It is also a very warm suit and I was fine diving in 60 degree water. It is easy to put on and the easiest to take off of any suit I have ever worn. It also offers great flexibility and ease of movement. I would definately recommend this suit. If I were to nit pick, I wish the knees were more solid rubber to offer better protection/grip.

Rating: great suit

very warm suit. a little tight around the underarms, but that goes away in the water. it is lined with something that not only makes it warmer, but also easy to put on. id give it 41/2 stars if i could and would definitely recommend it.

Rating: Love it...
Reviewer: Amy L., Thursday, September 04, 2008
I bought this wetsuit in mid-July of this year (2008) and so far I have only done 7 dives on it. That said, I must say Ive never been so warm while diving in the past. The waters off California can be pretty cold at depth and a good, warm wetsuit makes a big difference, especially if youre a "quiet" diver, which I am.
My only "complaints" are the same as with most wetsuits Ive owned since I gained some weight: I wish the arms and legs were not so long, and I wish that "bigger" did not always translate to "taller" when it comes to sizing. Guess Ill have to do what I always do, which is to get it cut to fit a bit better.

The Mares 8/6/5mm Trilastic jumpsuit is a must for the cold waters of Canada. I dive in this suit with great movement and i always leave the water warm. A great suit all around and the price can not be beat. A++++++

Rating: Comfy and Stretchy
Reviewer: Shealeen M., Saturday, July 12, 2008
This is an amazingly comfortable wetsuit - particularly for the thickness. I think it stretches better than Henderson Hyperstretch and the trilastic material feels soft and cozy. For a womens 7/5 its wonderfully easy to get into and its clearly made for a womans body - curves and all. I really like this suit.
That said, the generous sizing might be a bit of a problem for some. By "generous" I mean that a size 14 will actually fit a woman who wears size 14 jeans. Absurd that I have to consider this generous, but if youve tried on enough suits you will know what I mean. So - if in doubt, Id say order down (It will stretch, after all!). My own suit is a bit big and not as warm as it could be as a result.
Ive also noticed that the suit takes a bit longer to dry than straight neoprene suits, but Id say thats a mighty small trade-off for the comfort of the trilastic stretch and softness!
