Rating: Best Wet Suit Ive Ever Owned!
Reviewer: Eileen G., Tuesday, October 13, 2009
Im a Divemaster and have been diving since 1991 and have gone through a fair amount of wet suits. By far this is the best 7/5mm Ive ever owned! The seals are more like a semi-dry suit and the suit fits well. I tend to get cold but not in this one. I dive mostly in the Midwest and Canada. On a recent dive trip up north this fall I was one of 2 divers diving in a 7mm, not a dry suit as the 14 others did. The bottom temps were in the 50-60 degree range and I was very comfortable and I feel that I could gone colder. The seals in this suit are phenomenal and the knee pads are heavy duty and made to hold up for the "grunge" diving I like to do. Good Job Pinnacle - I would recommend this suit to anyone and Im considering getting a second one!

Rating: Awesome Wetsuit
Reviewer: mike m., Saturday, September 19, 2009
My wife has a tougher time diving in colder water than I do so I wanted to make sure I got her a quality wetsuit. My Tilos wetsuit doesnt do much to seal off the ankles, wrists and neck. The Pinnacle arctic is designed exactly how I would want a wetsuit to be designed. The legs have an inner layer that seals to the ankle with glideskin. After putting the boot over the inner layer there is an outer layer that zips to cover the boot. The wrists have a similar setup but without the zipper. The neck has a unique to Pinnacle roll down collar that does a great job of restricting water flow. I was surprised to see just how much merino lining the suit had. The lining covers the entire suit. In the end, my wife saw almost no water flow into and out of the suit and as a result was able to do a half hour dive in 50 degree water. The only reason she got out was because her hands and feet were getting cold. Overall were very happy with this wetsuit and if my wetsuit gives out Ill definitely be going with a Pinnacle next time.

Rating: Water temp 62 degrees
Reviewer: tamara l., Monday, September 21, 2009
I used the suit in Lake Tahoe...it was so warm, unlike the rest of my group I didnt use a hood or gloves. I actually losened the neck to allow a little water in. I never got cold...dove for 45 min. and 39 respectfully. If I could change or add anything, I really like the zippers on the legs for easy removal, I would add them to the arms as well making it easier for removal. I normally wear a size 12 and am 59". I went up a size and found it to fit perfectly. The suit was a great buy!

Rating: Amazing cold water suit

This is an amazing wetsuit, especially for the price on Scuba.com. The sizing was great, I had tried on a Mares 7/5mm and the arms were too long and there was space around the top of the chest and neck but when I put on the Pinnacle it felt like a custom. I followed the womens sizing charts, fell into the L category and I was really happy. The secondary seals around the wrists and ankles are great, especially the wrists where there is no zip. The batwing gusset and roll down neck do a great job of keeping that chilly water out. I love the marino wool lining, I have long been a fan of marino wool for cold weather tops etc for skiing/snowboarding/hiking and having the lining in this is a huge plus over other synthetically lined suits. Get the Pinnacle, you wont be disappointed.

Rating: almost no leakage
Reviewer: James Moore, Sunday, April 19, 2009 - View all my reviews
although this suit is not listed as a semi dry it almost is. several minutes in the water (just snorkeling, not at depth) left most of the lining dry. There are secondary seals a little up from the wrists that look effective and probably account for no leaks there.

Rating: This is a nice suit for below 70 degrees
Reviewer: Josh C., Saturday, January 20, 2007 - View all my reviews
the materials and construction is top-knotch. the outter layer is made up of several different types of neoprene stretches where it needs to, bends easily at the joints, etc. the unhooded version neck gasket must be tucked properly or you get leaks, otherwise i hardly get wet. i will use it throughout the winter on the gulf coast of florida with a hooded vest.
