Rating: New Diver

I am new at Scuba diving and I have rented a lot of wet suits before deciding on purchasing one. I am living near the Red Sea right now and the water is almost always around 22-24 Cel. degrees. and I was always cold.
This wet suit I love! when everyone else around me was cold I was warm and cozy. I love all the extra features like the velcro at the bottom of the zipper to hold the zip strap down while diving. Others were always in my face.
I do think they could put a little more "ruberizing" on the knees to save the suit from wear and tear -however, it is plenty thick enough for protection.

Rating: Mares 7/5/3 Trilastic Jumpsuit

Barbara does allot of quarry diving . The water does not really warm-up until August or September and even then you have to deal with thermo clines if you dive deep . The 7/5/3 suit is very easy to donn and with the "elastic feature" contours to the body to prevent cold water infiltration . The lining is very plush and aids in getting the suit on dry and off wet .
I would highly recommned this suit to others .

This wetsuit is true to fit and easily put on and taken off, dry or wet. Would recommend using a skin as well - just makes it that much easier. I would recommend this to anyone considering another, more expensive brand - Ive had one and this product is very comparable in style and quality!

I have tested this suit for temperatures down to 17C (63F) with the 5 mm hood, 5mm Zipper Boots and 5/3mm Trilastic Gloves. This combination provides very comfortable dives at these temperatures. Getting in and out of the suit was not more difficult than doing it with my 3 mm tropical suit.

Rating: Comfortable suit, but odd sizing
Reviewer: Jeri I., Saturday, December 13, 2008 - View all my reviews
The 7/5/3 is great for Maui winter time diving - cozy without being too hot, but the sizing on this is odd. I am 57", with long legs and quite large on top. The suit fits around the chest - has way too much room in the hips (but Im used to that). The legs are quite short, which, once again, is OK on Maui, but the arms are VERY long and very wide - once again OK on Maui if you can stand the look. For diving anything below 72 degrees I would definitely want a better fitting suit. Ill leave it on Maui.

Rating: Great suit

Having recently completed my first cool water dive in the Northeast US, I realized a full 7mm suit was not for me. This suit fit the bill perfectly. The 5 mil arms and legs provides great flexability while the 7 mil torso portion keeps you toasty and warm. The sizing is a bit funny though. I am very tall and found I needed to go to a pretty large size to get that part to fit. But Scuba.com happily worked with me until I found the perfect size. This is a great suit.

This is a great suit. I found it ran a little small in the torso but I love the varying thickness which provides a superior seal around the neck, ankles and wrists, flexibility in the legs and arms and warmth in the torso. I am very very happy with this suit.

Rating: Very Comfortable! Easy On and Off.

I was first impressed with how easy it was to put this wetsuit on. As with any wetsuit, I suggest wearing thin Lycra socks and an Underarmour T-shirt, which make on and off much easier. However, the lining in this wetsuit does not tend to stick to your skin. I did not have any problems with the thin water seals around the ankles and wrists. After the suit was on, I was next impressed with how flexible and free my arm and movements were - not the case with other suits I have worn. I am 6, 190, and a Large was a perfect fit, as if it was a custom. I stayed comfortable in the water and on the boat on my last dive trip. I recommend this wetsuit as quality gear for a great price!
