Rating: Warm at last

Ok, call me a wimp if you like, but I REALLY feel the cold. When I received my Henderson 7mm shortie I loved its exotic feel and trim look. It is quite a battle to climb into it, very tight, but on my last dive when everyone was complaining bitterly about the cold, I was warm and toastie! After two years of diving in all sorts of weather, to actually be warm in the middle of winter was so divine! Its also easy to care for and dries quickly as advertised. Definitely an excellent buy!

Rating: Watch out for the seams
Reviewer: F. Daniel A., Saturday, July 14, 2007
I do not know if this is just bad luck but the second of my dives with my Gold Core was a disappointment. Even though I stayed very warm at depths of around 70 feet in the approx. 45-50 degree fresh water dive, when I returned home I discovered a blown seam and numerous un-raveled stitching.
It took a couple of days of repair and seam prevention but the suit is back to a good dive condition.

Rating: Very warm
Reviewer: catherine logan, Friday, October 27, 2006 - View all my reviews
Used over a henderson 7mm titanium. Water temp down to 53. Kept me vey warm. The womans does not allow for hip room. The torso is a little short and the straps do put downward pressure on your shoulders. The gold core is next to impossible to get over another neoprene suit. But for me to dive in cool watetr for an hour and come out nice and toasty, deserves a good review.
