Rating: Great Suit for the NW
Reviewer: Brian W., Friday, October 09, 2009
Ive used this suit on a half a dozen dives so far and its really comfortable. I wear this with a 6.5mm hooded vest and have yet to be cold even diving in the Seattle area. Well made, true to size. I would buy it again.

Rating: Over all good buy
Reviewer: Carl M., Thursday, August 27, 2009
The Akona 7MM was a good all-around purchased. Akona has the foresight to create suits on the larger end of the spectrum for divers who "arent a size 1". The suit feels durable, and is relatively well made. Features such as the simple style knee pads, or lack of elbow guards and other fancy trimmings are reflected in the low price and do not take away from the performance of the suit. Best described as plain jane, it appears like a typical rental shop suit (of course, in better repair if you treat her right). If you are looking for the fancy looking suit with the high tech look, this is not the suit for you. This is simply a good value suit that dives nice with good buoyancy and heat retention. Good return on investment for a new or casual/part-time diver.

Rating: Quality wetsuit
Reviewer: Jennica K., Saturday, August 08, 2009 - View all my reviews
This is a high quality wetsuit. It fits well and has a little more length than other wetsuits of the same size by different companies. I highly recommend it if you are a little taller but it appears that the wrist and ankle seals can be cut to a shorter length if necessary because there are multiple stiches parallel to the cuffs and no binding hems on the wrists or ankles. Perfect for a homemade custom fit if you need it!

Rating: Great single piece wetsuit
Reviewer: Leith A., Monday, February 16, 2009
This is a GREAT wetsuit. I dive the Pacific NW year round and most of my buddies roll a dry suit. Not me. I have this bad boy. Even on repetitive dives, Im the warm one listening to them complain about cold feet and core. The price is killer, the flexibility is fantastic and easy to move around in. If you get hot very easily like me, a dry suit, or farmer john 2 pc will make you sweat and dehydrate quickly. This suit allows enough water in the backzip to keep you cool and still warm enough to enjoy the dive. Highly recommend it!!

Rating: Good Value
Reviewer: Nicholas R., Sunday, November 16, 2008
Buying a wetsuit online is pretty tricky. The Akona sizing chart was very clear which size I should order. I did, and could barely get into the suit (remember, this is not a real flexible suit, but a great value if it did work). Of course you can return it, but you eat the shipping TO you and the shipping BACK. Probably better to go to your local shop and pay a little more.

Rating: Akona 7mm Titanium Jumpsuit
Reviewer: Jami L., Monday, November 10, 2008
I really like pretty much anything made by Akona. However, I had to return this suit because it didnt fit me at all. Having said that, my body type is REALLY hard to fit. Im 510" and weigh 125 lb. Tall & skinny! So, Im hard to fit with pretty much anything. I really liked this suit, but it just wasnt for me. It was too short & way too much material bunched up under my arms. Plus there was a gap in the lumbar area because of my height, which pulled the neck really tight. Thought I was going to choke! If I was a normal size, it would probably have worked, but not for me! I ended up going w/ a Pinnacle Medium Tall.

Rating: READ THIS FIRST!
Reviewer: Marc Risinger, Friday, August 22, 2008
First off, this seems like a great wetsuit, youre going to love it right out of the bag. Looks sharp, and has a great shape/fit. I havent gotten a chance to dive with it yet but I can tell its going to be warm and comfortable. That said, please note that THE SIZING CHART THEY POSTED ON THIS WEBSITE FOR THIS WETSUIT IS WRONG. Im about 511, 170lb, 32inch waist. According to the chart online thats a medium which surprised me but I ordered it anyways. The thing came with a sizing chart right on it that said I should be wearing a large and sure enough, it was too small. The return policy and service here is really kick @$$ so you dont have to worry about the exchange if you get the wrong one, but whatever you do, either order a size that normally fits you, or find an accurate chart for this suit.

Rating: Creek Surfing
Reviewer: Joan M., Thursday, July 10, 2008 - View all my reviews
Ever boogie board in a creek? Hows about Clear Creek in Golden, CO? The Akona by Sherwood 7mm Titanium jumpsuit is fantastic, in water temperatures that average around 50 degrees in the summer, in one of Colorados best rated kayak and recreational waterways. Though most folks will get by with 3mm, the 7mm I found was best in overall insulation from the cold and was still quite mobile despite the density. Once the fit was correct and a little patience is needed with the womens suit, the Akona performed well. The reinforced knee area is a plus in the rocky bed of the creek but wearing knee and shin protection is always recommended in these areas. Dont let a little cold water spoil your fun, get the Titanium womens jumpsuit, your flippers, your helmet, your board and ride!

Rating: Akona by Sherwood 7mm Titanium Jumpsuit
Reviewer: Dave Geneski, Monday, May 19, 2008 - View all my reviews
I recently finished my open water dives in Kearney Nebraska. the water temperature was anywhere from 58 to 64. This suite along with a hood, boot and gloves kept me warm. As expected a bit of water gets in the suite around the zipper but not much. This suite is well worth the money. I have also snorkeled in 54 degree water with this suite with no problems.

Rating: A+ wetsuit
Reviewer: Yasmin Laine, Thursday, May 15, 2008 - View all my reviews
I ordered Sherwood 7mm jumsuit as to be my first wetsuit ever. I love it. It´s warm enough even though I dive in Finland. It also fits like a glove and looks good too. I would recommend it to everyone and its quite cheap too. My sherwood is an A+ wetsuit!
