Rating: oneil j-type wet suit

the fit is very good, I am tall with wide shoulders and a thin build and had a hard time finding a wetsuit that fit in the length. This suit in a medium long was just what I needed. My brother has had the same suit for over a year and was glad to see some of the upgrades that were done to the attachment of the hood to the suit. I feel certain this wetsuit will keep me warm and hold up for a long time.

Rating: Love the suit

I recently purchased a semi-dry jumpsuit for the dive team I belong to.I like diving in wetsuits, but when it starts to get cold, I have dive in a dry suit.Im not very comfortable in one, and the semi-dry gives me that little bit longer time to dive wet.It is exceptionally warm, and keeps me pretty dry.Love it Rick

Rating: comfortable and warm

The semi dry J-type is comfortable and warm. The back zipper and velcro fastenings can be a little clumsy and usually require the assistance of a dive buddy. But once youre in its great during the dive.

as you pull off the legs (inside out) trying to find the inside of them to right them can be confusing because of the many layers of fabric with the attached jacket. also, the farmer john with attached jacket and hood can be clumsy when wearing folded down waiting to arrive at a dive site (boat dive).

Rating: ONeil J-type Firewall Wetsuit
Reviewer: Greg Platt, Tuesday, August 22, 2006
this is by far the warmest wetsuit that i have ever used. normally i dive dry, but with the hot summers suiting up in a drysuit is exhausting. yet once im below 30, i really miss the drysuit. the oneil j-type wetsuit has eliminated the need for the drysuit in all but the coldest water. the water flow through the suit is minimal, far less than a step-in or standard jump suit. this is a great suit at a very good price its stretchy and comfortable and is very well made. i wish i had one years ago.

Rating: Warm Wetsuit
Reviewer: Olen Dick, Thursday, May 31, 2007 - View all my reviews
Kept me warm during inactive dives at Ft Ross, 44F. It has a weird fit around the chest, a little loose. Its also very buoyant: I had to wear 26lbs of weight to free dive for Ab.
