Scuba Supply

The Good Life/Travel/Scuba
www.Scuba.com
Price: Free

From wet suits and fins to knives and spearguns, this site sells every piece of scuba gear imaginable. And at great prices compared to the real-world retailers we visited. We found savings of more than $100 on items like buoyancy compensators. Equipment is neatly organized by size and cost, with special links to women's and children's gear. Orders placed online are shipped via UPS for $10.

BEST: Resources area with extensive links to manufacturers, repair shops and travel tips.

WORST: Won't allow swaps on personal gear packages.

(DDS Note: Unfortunately at this time, Scuba.com's shopcart system does not allow for swaps when purchasing personal gear packages online. Swaps can be made, but only via the age-old method of using the telephone. The customer can use this opportunity to take advantage of the expert advice offered by this company. The friendly and knowledgeable Scuba Instructors, eager to match you with the gear that serves your needs, are available at 800-34-SCUBA.)
