RETURNING A PACKAGE?

You have 60 days to return an item. You can exchange or refund that item if you are not fully satisfied (providing it has not been used in the water). All merchandise must be in new and unused condition and in the original manufacturer's packaging (this includes all manuals and warranty cards). Simply print off and complete the RMA form found at www.scuba.com/rma.asp, and return it with your product so that we may know what you want us to do.

If it is between 60 and 120 days or if your items have been used in the water, you can still get a 75% STORE CREDIT  “used gear” refund.  This credit will be emailed to you using the email address attached to your order in the form of a gift certificate.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Most in-stock orders ship the same business day (excluding holidays & weekends) and are guaranteed to be at your door within 14 days. If you request to receive your order in less than 14 days from now, you will be charged extra for shipping in order to get it to you in time.

Orders can be delayed unexpectedly due to manufacturers being out of stock in their facility.  If this occurs you will be notified by email and/or phone call to inform you of delays and offer any possible assistance or advice we can to help expedite your order.

WHAT DETERMINES IF MY RETURN IS “USED”?  I’VE NOT TAKEN IT DIVING YET.

If your item has been used in the water in any way, we are no longer able to offer it as “new”.  This includes the pool or even your shower.

If it is between 60 and 120 days or if your items have been used in the water, you can still get a 75% STORE CREDIT  “used gear” refund.  This credit will be emailed to you using the email address attached to your order in the form of a gift certificate.

I FOUND THE ITEM I’M INTERESTED IN CHEAPER SOMEWHERE ELSE.  WILL YOU MATCH THEIR PRICE?

Yes!  Since our inception we have been proud to be the lowest priced, authorized dealer of scuba equipment anywhere!  Scuba.com will beat the advertised price of any authorized dealer in North America.  We will also match the price of any non-authorized dealer (with the benefit to you being a great price AND the manufacturer’s warranty) so long as they have the item in stock and available to ship that same day.

STATUS OF YOUR ORDER?

Check on the status on your order here. Note that no status will appear on your order until 24 hours after your order has SHIPPED.

I JUST SUBMITTED MY ORDER. WHEN WILL MY CARD BE CHARGED?

Our Customer Service department charges orders received throughout the business day, Monday through Saturday, 10am to 5pm Pacific Time. Orders received after 5pm Pacific time will be processed the next business day.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?  CAN I COME INTO A STORE AND SHOP?

Yes you can shop in our Irvine California retail location.  For hours or directions to our store and more information visit http://www.scuba.com/resources/ioc.asp

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO ASSEMBLE MY EQUIPMENT. DO I NEED TO TAKE IT TO MY LOCAL DIVE SHOP ONCE I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

All equipment requiring assembly will be assembled by one of our certified scuba instructors prior to shipping. All you need to do is add air and water and you are ready to go!

WHAT ABOUT MY NEW CYLINDER? WILL IT BE READY TO GO AS WELL?

Due to Department Of Transportation (DOT and CTC) regulations we are not allowed to ship scuba cylinders with the valve in place. Our certified scuba instructors will visually inspect the cylinder and affix the VIP sticker then replace the plastic cap in the top of the cylinder and ship the valve in its own box along with the cylinder. When you receive your order, DO NOT install the valve. If you take a cylinder to your local dive shop with no air in it and the valve in place they will remove the valve, perform a visual inspection for their own liability and charge you for it. Let your local dive shop remove the plastic safety cap and install the valve for the first time.

I HATE WEARING MY CONTACTS WHEN I'M DIVING. I'M ALWAYS AFRAID I MIGHT LOSE ONE WHEN MY MASK FLOODS. IS THERE A MASK I CAN WEAR MY GLASSES WITH?

No.  Mainly because the arms of your glasses will break the seal on your mask causing it to be constantly flooded.  But all is not lost.  You can get a dive mask with optical lenses installed.  All you need is your most recent eye prescription.  Visit our Masks with Optical Lenses page at http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-53/Masks-Masks-w--Optical-Lenses.html, select the mask you prefer from the ones offered in the list and add your prescription using the Spherical (Sph) reading for the left and right eye from the table below each mask.  Be sure to go back and add the lens for each eye individually.

Optical prescriptions are issued in increments of .25 while scuba lenses are made in increments of .50, so always be sure to round up when selecting your lenses.  After that, one of our certified scuba instructors will install your lenses in your mask!  We’ll even send along the clear lenses we removed in case you need to replace them later down the road.
