Rating: Great fins
Reviewer: Dale S., Tuesday, October 25, 2011
im not an expert by any stretch, but i love my tusas. i got a set of the z3s when i first got certified. after about 25 dives in a variety of climes and places, they got misplaced somewhere during a move (im still searching). i didnt hesitate to buy another pair. theyre fantastic, easy on and off at the back of the boat or in the surf, and are wonderful in every environment in which ive used them.

Rating: Great Fins - As Advertised and More
Reviewer: Van J., Friday, September 16, 2011 - View all my reviews
Ive been diving for 10+ years, and Ive always consumed a lot of air, nearly always ending a dive with less than 500 - 300 lbs and on occasion having to borrow air from my wife. Ive also frequently experienced leg cramps on the second of two-tank dives. Ive considered purchasing split fins for some time, as they are advertised to reduce air consumption by as much as 20% and to reduce leg cramps. I purchased my Z3 X-Pert Zoom fins last month before my wife and I went diving in St. Lucia, and I absolutely love the fins. My air consumption has been reduced by close to 40% - 50%, as I never ended a dive with less than 1200 lbs. Also, over 4 straight days of two-tank dives, I never experienced any leg cramps. I should have bought these fins years ago. Its great to not have to worry about my air consumption - makes the dive much more enjoyable.

Rating: Tusa Z3 X-Pert Fins

After diving for 20+ years with my old fins, these are taking a little time to get used to. Kicking takes alot less effort, but Im not sure if Ive compromised speed. Basically, Im still not sure how confident I am with these fins. Maybe in another 10-12 dives Ill be able to give a better response.

Rating: Awesome Fins

Love them, women should order one size smaller than the size chart recommends. I had to get a XS and wear a womens 8.5, initially I ordered the Med and they swallowed me whole.

Rating: Awesome.

This is a great pair of fins, powerful, comfortable and effortless. I am a full time instructor and I use them day in day out with no problems whatsoever. I was able to test a lot of fins to see what I like, and these were hands down my favorite. TUSA is a great company, with awesome service, so you cant go wrong.

These fins are great. The color makes them highly visible. The fins work great and make my dive funner.

Rating: Love my Fins but not true to size - too large
Reviewer: Margo E., Monday, April 20, 2009
I love my zoom fins. Let me start by saying that I have resisted going to the split fin and all of my buddies are diving split fin and tease me about keeping up with them. That was all that I expected but the manuverability was more than expected. All that said, I wear a womens size 9 shoe and ordered the medium large as described on the size chart. Well I wish I had ordered the smaller size. The foot pocket is just a little too large side to side. The fin strap that comes with the fins is very hard to get off when you are at the boat. I havent done it yet but I intend to order the spring strap with hopes that will make it a little easier. Happy diving!

A little on the large side, but works well in the water. High visibility in murky lake water.

If you are really tall, these have less push than if you are a normal height person. If your taller go with the Apollo bio with the stiffer sides.
