Found this to be a very good quality jacket, repels water and wind equally well, toss it in my truck to have it in case of emergencies. Jacket is actually designed to be reversible, allowing you to turn the fleece side out. Waiting for it to go on sale again, will definitely buy another.

I love my new jackeet! Although it is intended for after diving, I have been using it for every day winter use with a hoodie underneath. Illbe wearing it alot without the hoodie too as our days start warming up gping into Spring. Looks good, comfortable, good loose fit. I am really happy with this purchase.

I have worn this jacket several times now and love it. It is very warm and comfortable. The weather here is getting down into the 30° - 40° area and quite chilly so I just throw a hoody on under it and I am toasty warm. Thanks Scuba.com for a great jacket.

Its a great jacket for medium cool days. The hood makes it nice if it starts to rain while you are out of the water. I would buy another one if I lost or ruined this one. If I were a woman, Id also buy the long coat length, but as a man, it would look a little dorky. This jacket it worth every penny they charge for it.

I purchased this as a last minute addition to my gear back prior to a 2 week trip to Fiji. Thank goodness I did! I wasnt expecting the surface intervals to be quite as chilly as they were. This jacket saved me! It is comfortable, light weight, and water resistant. It was warm enough to keep out the wind and spray but not so warm as to be suffocating when the sun was shining. I was one of the only divers that was actually comfortable during the trip. I recommended this jacket to all of my dive group. Thanks for such a great product at an excellent price.

I have had many trips when the boat ride was nearly miserable due to the weather. I got these jackets for my wife and I for this purpose. I have made one trip so far but of course the weather was perfect. No worries though. I will be ready . Fit was as expected.

For the price I dont think any one can complain about this jacket. Its cut well and fits perfectly with room to move, but without looking bulky. The removable hood is a big plus and the fleece lining is soft and warm against bare skin.
My own complaint is that there are only two pockets and they are a bit on the small side. On the upside, however, they do have zippers.
Due to the pockets, Id downgrade it to 4.5 stars, but since were dealing with whole stars only, Ive rounded up. Id recommend this jacket to any one.

I purchased this jacket for the purpose of wearing it on some of our northern Ohio dive weekends in the fall. In reality, it quickly became my "go to" jacket for the weekends on dry land as well. It is very comfortable, well made and a great accurate size. The pockets are roomy, and it is reversible on top of all that. Its been a warm winter, its true, but I havent had any problem with this jacket keeping me warm on windy and cold Cleveland winter days. Great buy! I should get another for a friend. In fact, I think I will. :-)

I am delighted with my new jacket. It is very well made & Im sure it will keep me warm after a dive. Also, it is very light & when lugging all my equipment, a heavier jacket would add to extra baggage costs, especially when one dives as much as I do. The zippers work well & the design has been well thought out. I certainly give this jacket a 5 star rating.

I was surprised that the jacket was so heavy and thick. I expected something light weight that could fit in a small dry-bag after diving. It is definitely a winter jacket. Works for me but it will not go with me on any carribean dive trip. The jacket is actually reversible and you can wear it with the fleece out. I think they must have thought that it would be useful to wear it that way if you had a wet wetsuit underneath. As far as I can tell the shell is waterproof but should not be considered a raincoat. Pretty good quality and a good price. Wished it had an inside breast pocket.

Bought this for diving but might wear it out before I ever get a chance to use it after a dive. This jacket is great for all around wear. Neutral colors go with anything. Have also used it while shoveling snow and hiking. The wind /water resistance makes it quite warm for such a light jacket and the detachable hood, which is lined, adds to its versatility. It should prove very useful once the spring dive season starts.

Polar Fleece Surf Jacket

I got two of these jackets for Christmas. They are perfect for the eastern North Carolina winter. So far the temperatures have been mild but we have had rain. The jacket has been great. My wife likes her as well.
The only draw back would be the the material in the pockets. The pockets are thin. This could be a problem if you carry pens or keys.

Ok really nice jacket but if you think your a large get XL, if you want to wear a sweater under for extra warmth get 2XL. Zippered pockets and a fairly water resistant shell combined with a soft and comfy liner make this a heck of a deal. Not a winter jacket unless your wearing another layer but I may buy a bigger one and give this to the GF, I like it that much.

I was a little worried when I ordered this jacket that it would be flimsy and cheap looking. But the fact is that this is a pretty well made jacket and looks it too. It has all of the important appointments: velcro tighteners at the sleeve cuffs, elastic lanyard and locks at the waist, all to insure a good warm fit. It also has a zip on hood.
What puts this jacket ahead of other windbreakers is the fleece lining. Its surprisingly efficient. The first time I used it was at the lake for a dive, and the air temp was 45 dgrees with a pretty brisk wind. I was very comfortable. I also wore it on a number of nasty rainy days around town last week, and even though it is not water proof, the water resistant shell and fleece lining kept me warm and dry.
Its a great jacket. You would have to pay several times more to get one that is better.

Purchased two of these jackets for myself and my dive buddy. The jackets are as described but not as expected. I was expecting something a little heavier and roomier. I ordered a size larger for each of us to allow for room and movement. It was a good thing that I did because I didnt get extra room but at least they fit. The lining is thin and less insulative than anticipated. Other than that they are nice with a somewhat discreet Scuba.com logo on the front.

My son wears the jacket on his cold walks home from school, to block the wind and to keep him warm. Although the jacket is light weight, it does a great job of protecting him from the elements. The color also always matches well with whatever he may be wearing.

I am very pleased with this jacket. For the money you will not find a better product. Hood is zippered so it is not flapping around like most hooded coats. Great wind resistence with a warm fleece line makes for a very light weight but warm jacket. I wear it every day. Very nice looking too.

The perfect fleece lined, reversible jacket to knock that chill away from your body. Love mine so much I got an extra for a friend. It is light weight so it is great for those stuff bags and it is water-resistant that also acts as a wind breaker. I am a hoody person but if you are not, you can detach the hood. Recommend it highly!!

I purchased my hooded jacket a little large. It is definitely warm and snuggly after a cold MN dive. It washes up very nicely as well. In MN, after a chilly fall boat dive in 40 degree waters, the first thing you want is dry land. Stripping off the wet suit is not an option. Five minutes to land can be cold with the winds hitting you. But wrapping up in this hooded after dive jacket and pulling your sleeves down around your hands can keep you mighty warm. And if you love your dive buddy, you can even offer him/her a couple of pockets to warm up in. The jacket is stylish out on the town as well! I would definitely recommend this jacket to all divers who are out "in the element".

After doing a dive trip to Little Cayman and seeing others with After Dive Jackets my husband and I recently purchased one each for our trip to Australia to dive on the Great Barrier Reef. The jackets were really good and are perfect for slipping on over your suit and waiting for your next dive - we did six dives on an overnight live aboard on the reef so were diving constantly. The great thing about the jackets was that we then went to New Zealand for the Rugby World Cup. It was Spring and all games were at night, so the jacket doubled to keep the chill out at the Rugby games. A very versatile, incredibly priced jacket, which hopefully will be with us on dive trips around the world.

I purchased this coat as a last minute item for a dive I was doing in Canada. I figured it would be cold between dives and needed something to keep warm. I was really surprised when I received this coat. It is an excellent coat well worth more than the $20 it cost me. It is very warm and teh reversible feature is great when you are in your wet suit. I actually wore this coat when I was out on the town since it was warm and looked great.

this coat was ordered for my girl friend and I was told they were unisex fit, when we got the coat it did not fit properly so she did not want it then, too big in the arms and sleeves. After wanting to sent the coat back we found out it was cheaper to just keep the coat, SO much for unisex.

this jacket is sturdy and warm and also being water proof is a plus, most places that I go diving is warm enough that I dont need the warmth that this jacket supplies but I just got back from the red sea and this would have been nice to have.

We took them on an Alaskan cruise and they were the perfect jacket... one morning, standing on deck watching the glacier and the iceburgs drift by, it was about 46 degrees and windy. The jackets kept us warm and the hood kept the wind off our neck and head.

We got three of these jackets, one for each member in family and were we pleased! They are just as advertised, and more. They are reversible! If you thought they might be too warm, reverse them and the cooler shell is against you. Great for boating to keep the wind off and great for after diving to keep the body temp up. The zippered pockets prevent loosing things on the beach, etc.
Removable hood adds a lot of versatility. Great jacket for old and young alike.

Good quality, very nice warmth, and you can reverse the jacket to put the water resistant side next to your wet suit between dives then turn it so the dry fleece is keeping you warm on the way home. It even has reflective piping, and a cool grey and black color scheme.

Live in Wisconsin and it gets chilly here. Have used this jacket both after dives and around town and it keeps me plenty warm even with the wind off Lake Michigan

This is a very nice jacket. I really like that the hood can be zipped off or on. The jacket has a fleece lining to warm you up after that dive. It is also reversible. Good quality

upon purchase of this jacket I wear it riding a motorcycle and on the boat keeping me warm & dry the liner makes it really comfortable

The jackt fits well ,true to size.
The shell appears to be of good quality.
The downside is the fleece lining.
It seems to be more like a sweatshirt liner.

This afterdive hoodie is water repellant and warm lining by the cuffs and waist are somewhat flexible I love this jacket!!
