Rating: Steel tanks are a must have
Reviewer: Ryan Rexroad  -  View all my reviews
A steel dive tank is a must have if you are an avid diver. Superior buoyancy, drip weight, the weight is distributed evenly, never any positive buoyancy as an aluminum tank. Price is a little higher than aluminum but, worth every penny. I would never dive with an aluminum tank again. Oh and the more cubic ft of air, more bottom time.

Rating: 100 cubic high pressure tank
Reviewer: Craig C.  -  View all my reviews
Finally able to try the 100 cubic high pressure tank last night with my other new equipment. I purchase a Black Ice BC and was not sure how much weight I may need so I started off with 4 lbs. on either side of my quick release pockets. I was amassed that I did not need the 8 lbs. Great tank and would recommend!

Rating: Really Pleased
Reviewer: Michael Albert
Of course, other reviews have already mentioned the excellent quality of the tanks and the advantages of steel over aluminum. Naturally, the higher capacity versus 80cu foot tanks is also a plus. I also very pleased with the valves. Theyre very good quality, and switching between yoke and DIN fittings just takes an allen wrench and less then 10 seconds.

Rating: Steel, the only way to go
Reviewer: George W C.  -  View all my reviews
For me, diving with a steel tank is the only way to go, unless someone gives me a CCR kit. My steel tank is very compact, I love everything about it.

I bought two of these tanks and love them. This site is great. You cant find dive equipment any cheaper anywhere especially when there is free shipping. I dont need to explain all the good benefits from using steel 100cu feet tanks.

I ordered this item on line. I am not that informed about the product as I ordered it for my husband for christmas. I called the contact number and was given a very helpful saleperson who in turn knew just what I was looking for. He was right my husband is thrilled with the tank and I owe it all to the advise of a well informed salesperson and the easy web site.

Rating: Great Bottle
Reviewer: Robert R.
I bought this bottle because I needed something quickly and the order through the local dive shop was going to take too long. Im a bit of an air hog (hence the 100 CU 3442 tank) and I like steel for the buoyancy characteristics. This bottle is great. Its relatively light for a steel tank, compact, and the galvanized coating is better than painted bottles in my opinion as it wont peel off. My other two bottles are Genesis 120CU 3442s and this one is actually more negative both full and empty so I got to take another 2 lbs out of my weight pockets. Sweet. Overall I think this is a great product. Buy with confidence.

Rating: 100 cf steel tank
Reviewer: David M.
This tank is great because it is much smaller and 13 lbs lighter than my 100cf compact aluminum tank. Steel tank is 35 lbs, compact aluminum is 48 lbs. In addition I was able to almost cut my weight in half. I just got back from lobster season in the keys and wish I had 2 of em.

Rating: good tanks good size
Reviewer: Roy J.
In my area- central coastal California- these are the tanks of choice. Not too large nor too small. Gives an easy hour underwater and of course steel cuts down on other needed weight for buoyancy.

Rating: Great Tank
Reviewer: Darrell Brackett  -  View all my reviews
This tank is the perfect size for my usual diving needs. 100 CF gives me plenty of air to spare, allows deep dives, and the weight of the tank helps keep my weight belt slim. Im using the tank for Nitrox, and tank and valve are Nitrox ready. I also like the ability to switch the valve to DIN if necessary. Overall a great tank at a great value. I highly recommend. If you dive regularly, you should own your own tank. This is a great choice.

Rating: FANTASTIC PRODUCT!!
Reviewer: LONNIE D.
Ordered these tanks from an overseas location and recieved them in less than a week! These tanks are great, Worthington Steel makes some of the best steels on the market, and boy can they hold some gas. The tanks are MUCH smaller than an AL 80 and the weight is great. I dive with a steel backplate and STA and these tanks are perfect...I use them with EANx for phenomenal bottom times!! Scuba.com will be my new "go to" for ALL online orders.

Rating: Much better than expected
Reviewer: Adam Helberg  -  View all my reviews
compared to my old al80, i was able to shed 8 lbs of lead from my back pouches. i now dive with just 14 lbs in my 7mm suit with hooded vest. my trim is better and air consumption has ped as well. its a nice size too, because on boats you only get a 3000 psi fill, so with the 100 tank you still get more than 80 cu ft of air. i highly recommend this tank.

steel tanks ("cylinders") always beat aluminum this 100cu.ft. beats my old 80 steel, now that the boats i use the most have 3000psi capability. i get an extra 10-15 minutes per dive, with no change in weight from the old 80.

Rating: Because one sive ALM 80 does not fit all
Reviewer: Shaun B.  -  View all my reviews
Love this tank, for the following reasons: 1. It’s the same size as an ALM 80 tank but provides a much great safety factor. 2 It proves me with less buoyancy IE less weight to use approx 5 pounds saved. 3 it’s great for DIN and Non DIN regulators.

I really like this tank. I have an Al. 80 as well and this tank is much better. It has great bouyancy and lets you eliminate weights. The 100 cu. ft. is nice too because it lets you extend the dive a little longer with a better safety margine. If your looking for a tank go with STEEL.
