Works OK but plastic doesnt have nearly the attention grabbing ping as the metal butt of a knife handle.

Rating: It Works!
Reviewer: Susan Godfrey,
This is an easy way to get your scuba partners attention while diving. The sound carries very well underwater. It works!
We had tried a rattle like unwater noise maker. Problem was that the sound didnt carry very far and the pitch was a little too high for my husband who is a little hard of hearing.
Just remember to take it off your tank when you are done diving!

Lost my last tank banger, I needed a new one for my recent dive trip to Aruba. This was exactly what I needed with the ease of being able to put on the banger by myself underwater. Great gadget!

Slide it on your tank and if you need to get your buddys attention just reach back and give your tank a tap.

What to say. Works well band stretches an incredible distance (at least twice the diameter of my 120). Has held up very well.

Now I can communicate underwater without all of the grunting! I have seen ones with a beefier elastic cord. Well see how long this one lasts.

This is a pretty simple review for a simple product. It is inexpensive, easy to use, and attracts the attention of my buddy. I like it.

Great for long aluminum tanks with no boot. These are the common tanks we get in the tropics. Not very useful for my steel tanks with a boot that I use at home.
