This snorkel does what the manufacturer claims. I was swimming/snorkeling in 5 to 6 foot seas and it snaps shut at the slightest touch of water, remaining dry until you inhale. It just takes a little practice, because if it is shut it takes a second to reopen when it senses air.

The dry snorkel worked well for the short time I was able to use it. I was only snorkeling in Hawaii for a week, but it gave me confidence that water would not come down the snorkel into my mouth.

The snorkel works really well. The one thing I dislike about a snorkel is that I cant get all the water out and this is the first snorkel I have ever had that I can!

I LOVED THIS SNORKEL THE FIRST TIME I USED IT. COME UP FROM DIVING TO DO A LITTLE SNORKELING AND WAS ABLE TO INHALE RIGHT AWAY!! LOVED IT!!! GREAT BUY!!
