I am a large guy and now I can finally wear my watch. adding another inch to the length would be perfect. I believe the normal size diver cant fit their watch over their wetsuit so this band can help. but their isnt enough strap left for me to do that. I thought the shipping charge was a bit high since this fit in an envelope and is quite small/light, but the shipping was quick and prompt. I waited for my watch to arrive from a different co a few days, even though I ordered both items on the same day. thanks

Rating: One pin nearer to not losing your dive watch
Reviewer: Mark Strovink
Your watch band is held on by one pin on either side of the watch. If either pin or side of the watch band breaks, there is nothing holding the dive watch to your wrist. The Waterborne Safety Strap is a nylon mesh that is much less likely to fail than the standard rubber watch band, plus it can hold the watch (loosely) by just one pin. Works well but the strap should be longer so it can by cinched down by the double D-rings.

These straps are great!! I just purchased a new Luminox dive watch and replaced the strap with this one. Very comfortable and will keep your watch attached if one of the watch pin fails! Five Stars for sure!!

After going thru a number of watchbands over the years and having them not last more than a couple of months, I found the watchband from Scuba.com to be well constructed and able to handle the riggers that it is put through on a daily basis. I would recommend this band.

Would recommend this item to all divers, have purchased this item before for several watches. I only dive a couple times a year, have not talked to anyone where it failed. would like to see a smaller band, does not fit citizen watch.

The wrist strap worked well to secure my compass since the neoprene one was ripping. Looking forward to many years of diving with it.

Rating: Needs to be longer for dry suits
Reviewer: Sylvain LeBlanc  -  View all my reviews
great strap if you want to make sure youll never lose your watch/ computer but it is made a little too short for use with thick dry suit & liner. a short piece of webbing needs to be used as an extension and "voila" problem solved. waterborne should simply make a long version of their straps for us guys up north... comfortable, safe, affordable.

It is difficult to run the tail around twice. It works better if you put the pin through the strap twice. My daughter sewed a piece of hook and loop on the tail. Works much better now.

Rating: Black 1 " Waterborne watch strap
Reviewer: Jerry M.
I find the product to meet my needs and works very well. The fit is fantastic. The strap can be adapted to just about any watch, but I use mine on a dive watch. The durability is much greater than normal rubber watch bands, that (for me) have tended to crack and break.

Rating: Waterborne writs watch strap
Reviewer: Gerard M.  -  View all my reviews
I can see by the way it is attached to the watch that there is a good safety net of protection from losing the watch in the event one of the pins that secures the band to the watch fails. However, it would have been nice to have been informed that the band stretches when wet! I wore in into the pool for scuba training and although it was tight and secure when I entered the water, after it got wet it almost slid off my wrist because it had stretched so much. I had to sinch it up a notch or two more to re-tighten the strap on my wrist.

This is the second watch strap I have bought from here, and it seems the quality of the strap has gone down, yet the price has stayed the same. It is a great strap, and it works wonderfully and I have yet to loose a watch on a dive, great design, its just too bad the buckles on the strap seem cheaper now. It still gets a good rating though just because of its great design

Some guy that I work with had a really nice watch on and I asked him where he got it from. He said he went to SCUBA.COM, and that is how I got my watch band! I did not need the watch itself, but I really liked the band, and I was suprised to find it on the website!! Thanks man Go green bay packers Mark Manders

In a few words, It may not be the thickest and most rugged on the market, but it is rugged in its own right and more so comfortable than a thicker competitor...I rate it excellent in every way........Kim Baker

Rating: You can never be to safe.
Reviewer: James M.
During a dive in a quarry in PA a student diver lost his Aquland watch due to the fact that he was using the original watch strap. Since is was the same watch as mine I knew he had just lost $600.00 worth of wacth because of trusting the pins and rubber strap that came with his watch from the factory. The best thing about the Waterborne safety straps is that it holds the watch by both pins. If you invest good money in a dive wacth or computer you are crazy not to protect that investment.

The waterborne Safety Strap was easy to install. It tended to be a bit bulky, however, my watch was very secure. It works well on the wrist as well as outside of a wet suit.
