Works, but hard to install

Have to pull out one end of the strap to install, then fidget with it to work out the kinks. Would be much better with a velcro fold over design. Once installed works well, but Im not too fond of the cheesy graphics.

Mask wrappers are ideal for anyone whom has hair. I have used them for years and now I just bought a couple for my daughters. They allow the maks strap to slip on easily and not get tangled up in all the loose hair floating around you.

If you dont have one of these you need it. I cant believe I have gone without one of these things for nearly 50 years. No more pulled hair and very easy adjustment. Bit of a hassle to put on, but once done, you are good to go.

until I replace the whole strap this is a nice addition. My hair still gets tangled on the plastic part of the strap above the ears, but its definitely better than not having the wrapper. Also like that it can be worn on either side (logo or no logo).

I recently ordered a Ocean Quest Pacific model mask from Scuba.com. They included this strap at no additional cost. It has a broad and comfortable pad (neoprene, I think), and it had a nice ocean-blue type of print color cover. I used this mask and lenses three recent snorkeling trips in Cozumel, Grand Caymens, and in Haiti during our cruise Scuba.com installed this strap (and also my -4.0 perscription lenses) into my mask, and shipped it to me in the time frame as promised. Thanks!

As a new diver or a veteran diver money is tight and we all want the best bang for the buck, Myself being a new diver I want to spend my money on the right type diving products. I like the product, it is reversable, a picture on one side and black on the other, I would have prefered both sides being black, myself I personnally prefer the black side out but that is why they give you a choice. Appears to be a good product for the money

Actually was a bit more of an adventure to attach than anticipated. Need to detach strap and feed through the band, think pushing a string. A friend on our recent trip had a version that has velcro strips that replace the strap, much easier to install but very limited flexibility to remove mask.
Both versions work great once the mask is on, and inexpensive enough to try both. The extra our friend had saved a dive for someone on the boat so an extra a good thing for the gear bag.

this is a great strap wrap easy to put on and prevents your hair from getting ripped out and tangled. plus you can use the scuba underwater scene side or black side which ever your preference. plus you cant beat the price!

I cant believe Ive never owned one of these before!!! What a great invention!!! This strap cover stays put and made for easy mask on/off. Most importantly, no hair was yanked out of the back of my head! Ladies, you know what Im talking about... We just returned from a snorkeling trip with friends...I felt horrible that I didnt purchase mask straps for all the wives!!! They were envious of mine. Next trip I will have the perfect gift for all my friends! Only semi-negative was that I had to wear my ponytail a little higher than usual to be above the strap...no big deal.

as a diver with closely cropped hair, ive struggled repeatedly with having my hair caught in the scuba straps! luckily for me, the scuba strap wrapper was included as a free item with my mask, fin, snorkel set. with the scuba strap wrapper, ive since experienced the joys of diving without having to worry about the hair-pulling that follows a dive.
but seriously, as a guy w/short hair, the strap has worked wellbut that would not qualify me to speak to the effectiveness of the strap for a person with long hair.

This was a good find! not hard at all to put on to the mask strap. I didnt want to replace my mask strap because I like to be able to ajust my strap if needed under water. Also having long hair I needed something that I could slip on and off fast. It was great for my training class and open water dives, as you know you have to remove your mask under water. I can even ware it with a pony tail.
I have had a lot of people ask me about it.

The Scuba. Strap Wrapper is a neoprene cover for your mask straps that keeps the straps from pulling your hair (important for my wife & daughter) and it makes my mask easier to spot among other divers gear (important for me). They are well worth the cost. Get one here or get one elsewhere but get one.

I purchased the strap wrappers for my kids masks. My daughter has long hair and this little added feature keeps her hair from tangling with the mask strap, she loves it.
My son doesnt have the same problem, as his hair is short, but he loves the comfort it provides.

Very hard to get on strap in first place, Velcro opening one work a lot better. Once on it was too narrow for my Alpha 2 purge mask. dont really notice it once you put it on, though.
