Rating: TUSA TUL-300 L.E.D. Light Review - $78.99 - Scuba Gear Customer Reviews
Reviewer: Anton L.
This gets 5 stars because it does exactly what the description stated. If I wanted a brighter/duller light, with more/less EV and larger /smaller beam diameter, then I would have gotten a different light. Very, very bright light which is more than I expected. Water seal is very good. It has some heft to it out of the water, solid construction, possible self defense weapon (=P). Be sure to keep it tethered to you using the supplied lanyard. Might put on some neon or reflective tape for easier UW viz in case it was to drop. A great light for signaling buddies, poking into crevices, wrecks, etc., and has sufficient length to keep you from using your hands when almost bouncing into things with the current (rather than using your pole mounted GoPro for example), yet compact to keep on you in any location. Works as my primary. Thinking about mounting it to my GOBUDi pole using a rifle scope mount or maybe a picatinny rail (=P). Seven dives already with the same batteries with intermittent dive use and constant use by 5yo kid. The on/off switch can be bumped into the ON position when its in your BCD pocket and you are digging around in there, or putting it in or taking it out, or in a location where the switch brushes against something with enough force to flip the switch. Can be moved to the OFF position the same way. However, in your hand, as intended, easy to turn on or off when you want it while wearing gloves (any thickness). Therefore, when not using the light, be sure to check that its off. Remove batteries for storage. Pick up some rechargeables for night diving.

Rating: Great value in a compact form

Excellent quality, light yet durable, bright light. Bought this one to replace the one the got stolen recently. The batteries seems to last long. Had it for 2 years, used it for over 16 dives and the light seemed as bright as when I bought it.

Rating: Tusa 300 LED light
Reviewer: Martin Clarke
Main benefit of this dive light is its compact size which easily stores in a BCD pocket for when you need it. The beam is a constant, even 42 degree wide diameter with no separate bright spot. Two small but expensive CR123A batteries power the light with a rated burn time of 3 hrs. We recently used this light on a liveaboard trip in Belize and it was useful as a primary night light as well as for checking out dark recesses in the reefs. Housing is aluminum so very durable.

This is a great little light. I think it will work good for night diving. It is bright for its size and is LED so it should be good. We are going diving again in about a week so we will find out. The only down side is that you cant focus the beam of light at all. It seems to cover a medium sized area. Works great for the middle of the night in the desert as well.

Ive only used this torch for one trip to the Caribbean but found his is a wonderful general purpose torch to carry in your BCD. Its small enough to easily fit into a BC pocket when not in use. The light beam is bright and has a nice consistent width. I found it useful for swim throughs, looking under coral heads and in holes for critters on day dives. During my one night dive I was impressed with how much light it put out. Id have no problem using this as my primary torch on a night dive.

very light... I was impressed with the power of this flashlight. Far above my expectations. I found a little heavy in the water. But its not a big problem. I think it could come with a protective cover to be stored.

Rating: TUSA L.E.D. Dive Light:
Reviewer: Thomas M.  -  View all my reviews
This is the first dive light Ive ever owned and I bought it specifically for its bright LED beam despite its small size. I had seen another diver using a light on a day dive and realized that it really comes in handy when youre diving on a wreck and want to be able to see inside of a cabin or hold. Its also great for illuminating underneath a rock or coral head. I ended up using this light on every dive I did on my last trip. The TUSA is a great light and small enough to easily fit right inside the pocket of my BCD. The switch is easy to slide on/off. If you dont own a dive light you should get one and this is a great choice!

I just had the opportunity to use my dive light for the first time. Not only is the light super-compact, but its incredibly bright for its size. I was a bit disappointed to learn that this light is IDENTICAL to the Intova Nova Wide Angle dive light, except for Tusas 50% markup.

Rating: I like this Tusa light.
Reviewer: Frank B.
First, it is metal. I have been finding that plastic lights have been failing me. This one is tough. It stayed in my BC pocket for a week of diving, then worked great on the two night dives we did. It is compact, yet very bright. I actually made the beam smaller by wrapping my fingers around the end so I wouldnt scare off all the fish. The cost is justified.

Rating: TUSA L.E.D. Light is Compact and Super Bright
Reviewer: Gregory H.
I love this light. After losing a more expensive light cannon on a dive, I didnt feel like spending a load of cash on a new light. The TUSA L.E.D. is amazingly bright for its size and you hardly notice its strapped to your BC. A great purchase!

Rating: GREAT DIVE LIGHT
Reviewer: Andy Williams  -  View all my reviews
I just got back from a week dive vacation in Roatan. This light has to be one of the best out there. I used it on day dives and night dives as my primary light. I have a large light as well but when I tried both out underwater this one was much brighter and much smaller and easy to carry. Several divers said they were going to pick this up and use it for all thier night dives and to look in the dark places during the day.

This light is consistently bright from center to periphery. The construction is very high quality and the magnetic switch is much easier to use than conventional toggle switches or twist lens. Clearly the best dive light Ive owned. Roger, divemaster

I purchased the Tusa light for my wife. She loves the light. It was about four times brighter than the full size rental lights they gave us to use. Plus my rental light battery died about 20 minutes into the dive. I will be purchasing one for myself soon. It can be used for a backup or for the main light.

This is the best small light ever, even better than the big lights. Several of my friends have already ordered one after seeing mine. Cant go wrong.
