Works well, but really lay it on thick.

I used this to seal the stitching lines on a tent floor, rain fly and on the PVC liner on a pop-up truck camper. It did make the tent heavier, but also dryer. I used a disposable brush and cut the bristles to 1/4 inch long. I squeezed the Aquaseal onto a piece of board, then brushed it onto the material. The tube opening will cure when you stop using it, so I just drilled a new hole for a second and third use. Buy the small tubes unless you are doing a very large project.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Dorothy B  Can I use it for water holding tanks on a rv. Leak is around the connecting hose. Probably should flex?
bob b  No
JOSEPH S  ◾It bonds to hypalon, neoprene, latex, nylon, vinyl (PVC), GORE-TEX and other trilaminates, many fabrics, foams, composites, and many plastics. Not sure if it passes potable water standards...but for wastewater I bet its fine.
Dorothy B  Thank you, its for potable water.
DENNIS B  Yikes! No idea if Aquaseal is safe for drinking water. I would contact your local RV repair company, because I am certain there are products made especially for RV tanks.
Dorothy B  If I were you, I would make it a point to know that answer. Why would a RV reapairman know anything about your product.
DENNIS B  Why the heck would I know?! I’m just a random dude who also bought Aquaseal! (To fix my drysuit, which is what it is made for.) LeisurePro said, “Hey, you also bought this, can you answer a customer question.”
CHARLES P  It’s a great product. I use it to fix cuts in bike tires after using it for years to fix wet suits. It may work for your problem.
Shopper  will it work on concrete ?
KEVIN F  The manufacturer does not give recommendations for use on concrete.
CHARLES P  Sorry but I never tried it on concret
MICHAEL G  Have not tried it on concrete, but it is just s good quality silicone, do not see why not, but what is the application for?
michael c  This stuff will adhere to most anything. It's incredibly tacky. It will affix two pieces of concrete together fine but if you intend to use it to fix a basement wall crack or something like that, it probably wont hold for more than a temporary fix. The water pressure and joint movement will eventually break apart the seal eventually.
Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
DENISE C  Used it on my wet suit many years ago. Still the best stuff out there.
NICHOLAS S  The XS Scuba Highland Glue-on Pockets come with only a .75 ounce tube of aquaseal. General applications require up to 2 ounces. I use the .75 ounce bottles as backups in my repair kit.
JOHAN M  Absolutely the best glue for wetsuit material!
JOHN M  Best on market for kayaking gear repairs
STEVEN K  I have used this product for decades for wetsuit repairs and sealing leaking seams. It also greatly extends the life of dive mitts I use for harvesting shellfish.
DAVID C  good price
RICHARD L  Dry suit repair.
Hiromi S  because this sealant is 8 oz.very big.
