Netherlands Antillies - Our Secret (View on map)
You all go to Aruba and Bonaire. All the divers who love great diving are so glad that these two islands invest so much money in advertising to attract lots of divers to their shores. Why? Because that leaves the best island, the Island of Curacao, to all of us who know the secret. You could dive, from shore, to a different dive site very day of the year and still not see all the great sites around Curacao. When you go there, look up the local ActionCOACH Business Coaches, Arnout and Jenine, and tell them that the Huffmans said "Thank you" for introducing us to the best dive spot outside of the Great Barrier Reef to dive. Check out the Mushrooms for great photos.
Isla Cozumel, Mexico (View on map)
Here is a fantastic cliff where you can simply get into the water and drift down the reef and enjoy the world as you sail under the sea.
Laucala Bay, Fiji (View on map)
Between Laucala Bay and Suva Harbour there are some great areas where you can dive from the shore or go out for a short ride in a boat.
Maui, Hawaii (View on map)
A great place to dive and relax with family.
Isle Cerralvo, Mexico (View on map)
The Gulf of California is an amazing place to dive. Be sure to see the underwater waterfalls. They are amazing!
Sun Cay and Athol Islands (View on map)
The Bahamas - A great place to take a "resort dive" or just drift, relax, and enjoy the world under the sea.
Lake Jocassee, South Carolina (View on map)
This was the first, and the worst, dive of my life. But, it was where we were certified, in ice cold murky water, before going to the Great Barrier Reef for a week on the Taka. I love contrast.
Great Barrier Reef & Coral Sea (View on map)
My first true "Open Water" experience. Take the "Taka" out of Cairns for the best week of "live aboard" diving in your life. www.takadive.com.au.
