Not bad, but after a few dives youve pretty much seen it all. Very deep, old rock quarry. Fresh water jellyfish. Viz is hit or miss, in my experience. Okay, if you live nearby.

Lake Murray, SC (View on map)
Only went once, not much to it. No dive shops on lake, but a couple in Columbia. I wouldnt bother unless you just need to get wet.

Murrells Inlet, SC (View on map)
Nice little town. Good wreck diving, but 1 - 1 1/2 hour boat ride to dive sites. Viz is hit or miss.

Cozumel - Sabor Resort (View on map)
Its Cozumel - one of the best dive spots weve been. Great reefs. Almost completely drift diving, due to current. Which can get strong at times, so stay with your buddy!

Turneffe Island, Belize (View on map)
Nice diving. Weather was a little rough when we visited, so probably better than we experienced. Dive crew were excellent. Be prepared for an hour boat ride to get there, whether on a cruise or flying directly to Belize.

Anthonys Key (Cay), Roatan Is., Honduras (View on map)
Excellent diving, period. If visiting on a cruise, be prepared for a 45 min bus ride to get to the resort. Beautiful location, professional dive staff.

Grand Cayman - Don Fosters (View on map)
Great reefs, very good viz. Lots of dive shops to choose from. We went with Don Fosters, associated with cruise lines. Got married to my dive buddy here in 2008 after a morning dive!

Runaway Bay - Breezes Resort (View on map)
Load boat from the beach, 10-15 min boat ride to dive spots. Usually excellent viz. The resort itself is very nice. About an hour bus trip from airport, but very scenic ride.
