About Me: The goofiest of the sales/instructor staff you´ll have the pleasure (or displeasure)of having help you at Scuba.com. A diver since 1979, I´ve held professional level certifications with several agencies all the way up through Course Director. My background has had me working in shops, managing shops, and owning dive shops. I have commercial experience performing underwater concrete repair with high pressure epoxy injection systems. I also spent several years as the Technical Support Director for several diving equipment manufacturers and am a repair tech for just about every major brand of scuba equipment sold today and most of the ones that are no longer around!

Favorite TV Shows
Each time I get to liking a new TV show it seems I´m the ONLY one to like it and it gets cancelled.
Mark Twain´s Following the Equator. But it has to be the original verson, not that piece of crap from the 70´s where they tried to modernize his work.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you are on fire.
Thanks and I would def. look you up when I am over your side of the coast. Thanks for the encouraging words. Though its ben difficult to find buddies and/or getting in bottom time w/ my instructor/s or people I have learned from.Cheers.
hi bob,if i have chance to visit the west coast..will definitely by.cheers/skuly
My friends all think I am nuts because I love Scuba Diving so much and Disney World. Its my escape. Thanks for the nice comments on my pics. I just got back in January from a Cruise and took a ton of great pics. I have also lived in the Yukon on Alaska Border and Canadas High Arctic.I trained as a mechanic and welder. I wish I would of had the money to take the training to become an underwater welder. Thinking of going to this Dive school in Key Largo to take a few months of Training to become a Master Instructor with like 6 specialites under my belt saving the money up. Your so lucky that your were able to learn what you have in the dive field. rudkin37 is my yahoo messenger id.
I can relate completely. Living within earshot of Disneylands firework displays (I can actually see them from the roof of my house, if I want) gives me that same break when ever I choose. I myself attended one of those school, although the one I used was in Orlando. I have met people and some decent instructors from the school in Key Largo, but from my own personal experience when we did our IE, all 12 of our class passed with flying colors where the people who joined us from the Key Largo establishment had a 255 failure rate that particular weekend. Now granted, that was ´´a few´´ years ago, but still something to keep in mind when making your choice. Im loving the pics still! Keep em coming!
wow! a disney fan as well! its one of my favorite things about living in s. california! once upon a time i lived not far from d world as well. ) i started out on the commercial diver path at one point myself as and ndi tech, but found i actually enjoyed scuba diving and that sort of work was going to definitely ruin scuba for fun for me. it helped me choose the scuba instructor path instead. all in all, a good choice i believe. im hoping you dont mind but i swiped a couple of your photos to use as my background on my computer! the enchanted gardens pic makes a great background!
bob... looks like theres an issue with the dive slates. i cant use the word at all!!
i cant use the word ´´´´ at all, and for some strange reason, the apostrophes dont work. Its not just your slate either, Its mine as well, so I think it might be the same with everyone. Ive also changed browsers from Internet Explorer to Fire Fox and still got the same issue.
Tracy, Im not seeing any issues on my slate. What is it that they system wont let you do?
Hi Bob, thanks for the kind words about the photos...I built the light tray myself out of spare parts, and put the dome together with odd parts as well....the only thing more addicting than divig is taking pictures while diving...stay wet
Hey Bob...it´s going Verrrryy Sllooowwwlllly... Still trying to get a group together, but man, people get busy. It´s definatley taking some time to just to get the class. Sheesh. I´ve got all the necessary equipment that I can get - now I´ve just gotta get the others to do the same.
