White tips can be pretty aggressive. Especially at that size. Cocos Islan? What an awesome trip! Wish I was there! Keep an eye out for the Hammerheads and post lots of pics when you can.

Just returned from guam and had an amazing time! great dives time adn time again. i am now a cert´ed master scuba diver!! come on dive master i got this!!!

Sounds like a blast. I had a buddy who ran his own operation there while his wife was stationed there. Warm clear water, beautiful reefs and ocassional Tigers. Take lots of pictures and post them here. Have a blast! When are you going to be there?
