Milton, if you come here, you only need the equipment to snorkel, since all the fish you may want is in the first 30 feet of water, if you go after fishes, the wrecks and photos you may take, because of water visibility is also at these depth and you don´t need tanks, tanks limits you on every dive and you may dive twice a day but snorkeling is done all day long with no trouble at all and it is best to dive on reef if any, they are at these depths.
Hi Milton I don´t know what happened but my message got another icon, not mine if you check it out, is costeno, a navy photo of myself I just want to invite you to come down to see the first city in the continent of America, Santa Marta at the foot of the tallest mountain in the tropic and the fortress build against the pirate´s attacks in Cartagena and dive along these two sites in the Colombian Caribbean, let me know the dates of your stay here to set you up and show you around, thanks
Hi Milton, I have been around the water since my youth I started swimming competitive, once in the US Army working as special services in one of the pools in Ft Jackson S.C. I started diving and now I am welcoming divers from all over the world to our region in the Caribbean; Cartagena, Santa Marta, ´´San Andres
thanks for the advice, it´ll probably be awhile before i buy any cameras or anything for that matter, money´s pretty tight and probably will be for a couple years as i´m finishing up my ba and heading towards my masters right afterwards
When you get ready for a camera, the Sealife cameras are a very good value.
Sorry no, I cannot afford an underwater camera at this time
Cool images, do you have any below the water line?
