About Me: Recently completed Advanced Open Water certification. First post-training ocean trip to Channel Islands National Park cancelled by small craft warnings. Oh well... Found a safe spot on the coast to try out some new gear, body surfed a bit as well. I´m reminded of how truly beautiful a natural wonder California is.

Hi, if you like to dive around the world I am inviting you to see the first city in the continent of America, Santa Marta, at the foot of the tallest mountain in the tropic and a fortress build against the pirate´s attacks in Cartagena and dive along these two sites in the Colombian Caribbean, to do some spearfishing, photo, underwater video, wreck diving, etc., let me know the dates of your stay here to set you up and show you around, thanks
So, curiosity catches here. I´m unfamilliar with NM diving possibilities. Are there fresh water sites avaialble as in other parts of the Country? If so, have you visited any yet?
I am in So Cal and dive Catalina as often as possible. The vis at Casino Point is almost always diveable. We had at least 30ft in spots with a little better on Sunday. My contact info is on lacountyscuba.com you can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we can see if we can hook up for a dive sometime.
Terrific. We are in LA with increasing frequency, as we´re retired and our daughter lives there. My email is email@example.com and phone is 505-720-4481. There is another L.A. diver, Om Chang (omchang.com)who might also be interested in arranging a hook up.
The weather has been kinda iffy lately, Catalina Island this weekend was actully better than expected. No rain on Saturday and a little on Sunday, but it brought a great big rainbow over Avalon Sunday morning.
How was the visibility? Catalina Island was my first open water dive, when I was a newly-certified fifteen year-old. I´ll look at your profile again (can´t see it from here and have to go) as it sounds like you´re from SoCal. Perhaps we might try a dive together some time. Avalon is gorgeous, for sure. Small craft warnings were posted at Ventura midmorning Sunday, so my two-tank trip was cancelled. Made for good body surfing, though.
I will be happy to help with dive destination. This is a great place to ask about those kind of things, there is a lot of great divers on the Dive Slate.
