| costeno - Miami USA About Me: Colombian Naval School, 1963, YMCA diver 1970´s, US Army, Phys. Dis., Retired., 1967, Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Ft. Jackson S.C. I competed in swimming and diving in my youth, locally and later international for Colombia, ´till an accident while in US Armed Force´s Services, that got me disable, of right arm. I went to MDCC in Miami and got my AA in Physical Education, I took a course as a Marine Tech at MDCC, river campus and for my bachelor studies at FIU, Park & Recreation Administration. I worked for the city, of Miami, Rec Dpt., now I am doing some skin diving and forming a skindiving club in Colombia and with the experience that I gained in tourism with Intasun and Iberojet in Miami, I am inviting you. The best time to do some skin or scuba is during the summer but you can do it all year round in the north area of Colombia. The rainy season it is better, ´cause three days after the rain, the water gets clear and the fish comes up to the surface or close to it. San Andres Island is the best diving area in the North, still there is another place in the Pacific Ocean with wales and hammerhead sharks for the tough guys | |
