  • I received my military scuba diver bubble for combat engineer(same school), but it actually falls short of the combat diver. I wasn´t recon or anything, was enough to hook me on being under water. I did a couple of years as a commercial diver before becoming a cop. The pay and benifits for that sort of thing is much better now, so I have thought about doing it again or becoming a Padi open water instructor.

  • Coop,The names always sound familiar, but its going on nearly 20 years. The military diving community is small, but I can,t really say I remember him. Most of my instructors were e-5 to e-6 not much older than me. I would suspect that he was an e-7 to e-9 and on the Navy side I wouldn´t have had much contact with instructors of his experience since I wasn´t a combat diver.

  • I just thought I would ask, I know it is a long shot, but just think if you had of know him, how cool would that have been. He retired an Lt Commander.
