My professional certifications include: NAUI Course Director #6858L, PADI Master Instructor #31706 an a SDI SCUBA Instructor #13148, NAUI 1st Aid and CPR instructor, DAN O2 Instructor & a PSI Cylinder Inspector. I have numerous instructor specialty ratings too. My love of diving has taken me to such diverse locals as the beaches of Southern CA, the Channel Islands, Monterey, the Sonoma County Coast line & Lake Tahoe. As a certified dive travel agent & group leader, I´ve lead divers to Cape Cod, Florida, Cayman Islands, Cozumel, Cabo Wabo, La Paz, the Bahamas, Belize, Bonaire, the Bay Islands of Honduras, Hawaii, Grand Cayman, Fiji, Palau, Malaysia and the Underground/Underwater Mine/Cavern Diving Operation in Missouri (of all places). Favorite Dive Gear | Too many to name. But the coolest item on the market today is the Heads-Up Display Mask hoseless/integrated computers offered by Oceanic , Aeris and Suunto. (I currently own the OC1 & a Suunto Stinger Dive Watch). My Henderson 7mm & 5mm H2 Hyperstretch, one of the best wetsuits in the world and my BARE 7mm Neoprene Drysuit with attached boots. New... A SCUBAPro Knighthawk BCD. |
Favorite Dive Locations | Cape Cod, Florida, Cayman Islands, Cozumel, Cabo, La Paz, The Bahamas, Belize, Bonaire, The Bay Islands of Honduras, Hawaii, Grand Cayman, Fiji, Palau, Malaysia and the underground/underwater mine/cavern diving operation in Missouri (of all places). Where´s my favorite tropical place to dive? "As long as the my friends are around, the waters warm, the critters & photo opportunities are plenty, that´s my favoite dive site!" |
Activities | I´ve been an avid diver since 1981 & an instructor since Nov. 1982 and have received my 30 year Instructor pin with NAUI and my 25 year PADI Teaching pin too. With over 4250 dives under my weight belt, I´ve certified over 2655 students of all levels along with teaching Wreck, Boat, Deep, Nitrox, DPV, Night, Drift, Navigation, EFR, DAN O2, Drysuit, PPB, Multi Level, Nitrox & more! Teaching, travel, movies, bike riding and hanging out with friends. |
Interests | Lot´s of them... But along with diving, I´m a Dive Travel Agent/Specialist. I read a lot using my "Kindle", love motorcycles but don´t currently own one. |
Favorite Music | Classical, Oldies but Moldies, modern stuff and I know it´s a little late in life... Country Western! LOL |
Favorite TV Shows | NCIS, the Star Trek Series, Blue Bloods, Army Wives, Nakita, Sanctuary, Lost Girl, Nashville, Persons of Interest, BOARDWALK EMPIRE, Revenge & anything dive related. |
Favorite Movies | Most everything. But I can´t stand the axe murder and thrashers movies. What a waste of time & money. |
Favorite Books | Novels by W.E.B Griffith, Tom Clancy, Dale Brown, Clive Cussler, Peter Coyle,Ken Follet, John Grisham, Robert Ludlum, Dan Brown´s "The DaVinci Code" & "Angels & Demons", "The Last Days" (about the on-going conflict in the Middle East), Robin Cook, the life of "John Adams" & many, many more authors. I do like techno & medical thrillers and I´m a WWII history buff. Own a "Kindle" now... ´Good by´ hard and soft cover books! |
