Looking for Love About Me:  I love SCUBA. My deepest dive to date was 145´ in Guanaja, Bay Islands, Honduras. I prefer warmer water. The coldest has been maybe 65 deg, that is cold. I would like to meet others for a dive-buddy or LTR.

Hey Angela - are you still alive and kicking or frozen stiff as an icicle? lol

Hi Angela! Sorry it took so long to reply, but Ive been tied up on a project site and didnt get to check my main email box that I use sparingly. My Yahoo addy acct is what I mainly use as of late, as it allows me more storage space and bigger Jpeg attachments, etc. The Gulf side is definitely the place to live if you dont want to live in a sauna - not that it doesnt get a little humid here as well during some parts of the year, but at least we get the cool Gulf breezes during the day and esp at evening time. Makes it very nice - esp after a rain! Its actually a cooling effect if you know what a SWAMP COOLER is about Physics wise?? 2012 was very nice, and so was 2013. So far this year just some extreme colder DEC-JAN weather down in the low 40s from that recent Canadian blast that came through - Brrrrr. By all means do stay in touch, and Ill check my other email addy more often now. Hey BlueEyes - good to hear back from you. Sorry I didnt reply back sooner - been a bit busy these past few weeks getting an apt ready for a rental for a nice couple that I did some boat repair work for the past few months plus. The latter is what I’m doing for work right now when it comes in. I love working on boats and being on the h2o as it were. It has its advantages for sure! Venice is a very nice area in which to live and dive destination from even though the crowded East Coast (EC) area of FL has some of the best dive spots there are here in the FL dive Paradise. Of course if you have a nice offshore dive/fishing boat then you can go diving most anywhere the mind can imagine. I dont care to live on the EC as its a zoo over there! Not to mention all the drugs and/or crime as well. I dont need either - as its very peaceful on the Gulf side and its not crowded either! Ive lived on the upper EC side back in the early 70s when I was in the military and believe me when I say that it got pretty muggy humidity wise. Like living in a walking wet sauna and then some. That is why I liked the SWFL Gulf side when I decided to move back to FL - esp the Venice area when I moved back to FL for good in 2012. Much cooler weather on the Gulf Coast side as well - not muggy like the EC can get during the summer months. What kind of work do you do? Have you scouted the FL area for work or job opportunities - if you even are looking for job opportunities?? There are so many things to do her ... (read more)
