| PADI Open Water Crew Pack - Complete Reviews
Reviewer: Randy Prouty on 6/15/2007
easy and fast ion for the beginner - I wanted to get a jump start on my PADI OW certification and ordered the crew pack in advance of finding a local instructor. I mistakenly ordered two crew paks instead of one and the DVD. Scuba.com made it very easy for me to exchange the extra crew pack for the DVD. I have now viewed and reveiwed the book and the DVD and start my first class tomorrow Sat June 15th. Thanks SCUBA.COM for your great customer service and making it possible for me to veirfy that I have made the right choice in taking a new hobby for my "mid-life crisis". Im 45 years old and like I told my wife - "This is cheaper and will last longer than a vette".

| PADI Search And Recovery Crew Pack Reviews
Reviewer: Paul Selden on 10/27/2006
Search and Recovery Crew Pack Helpful - i got this crew pack for two reasons. first, i wanted a more thorough orientation to search and recovery mainly just for fun and "just in case." hey, what if i ever come across an anchor, or a row boat that could be salvaged? second, i wanted a head start on getting certified, before enrolling in the course. the materials accomplished both goals. compared to some other padi courses, id say this one is on the "lighter" side. dont expect any drama about recovering sunken galleons, bodies or bullet-riddled cars, either the materials say to leave those for the authorities and the officially sanctioned divers. on the other hand, i now feel pretty confident that, given the right gear... | PADI Rescue Diver Crew-Pak Reviews
Reviewer: Douglas W. on 3/4/2007
Great Way To Plan Ahead - I bought the Rescue Diver manual a few months before I took the coarse. It gave me time to really learn the material and get in the right frame of mind before I got in the classroom and water to test on the skills. This is a great way to prepare for such an involved coarse. I think this cert. is the most important of the diver certifications, and although it wasnt too difficult to complete, it was the most difficult of the coarses. It certainly helped knowing the material inside and out way ahead of time, so when it came time to deal with the physical part, I could concentrate on that. So plan ahead, buy the book first, do the chapter reviews and study them, then sign up for the coarse.... View Full Review

| PADI Wreck Diver Crew Pack Reviews
Reviewer: Lawrence L. Woodward on 9/17/2006
PADI Wreck Speciality Support Material - The PADI Wreck Speciality course and the crew pack (the material that is used in the course) provides a thorough INTRODUCTION to wreck diving. After getting through the obgligatory material on why one should not destroy a wreck, it does discuss how and why a diver needs to check the local law concerning a wreck BEFORE you dive. In part two, the material does a very complete job of presenting the procedures for wreck penetration. In fact, if your instructor follows the course outline and presents only what is necessary, it willduplicate the combination of the book and the DVD.
Concerning Scuba.Com, make sure that you purchase a "crew pack" and not just the video if you are going... View Full Review

| PADI Enriched Air Diver Crew Pack - DVD Reviews
Reviewer: Ronald Agee on 7/11/2008
Good for Intro - DVD is good. I wanted additional information concerning nitrox before going on the dive trip to Bonaire. First certification was with PADI, 1991. Nitrox certification was with SSI. I wanted both views. SSI dive tables were better. Product was still a good buy.
