Without a doubt, one of the best hoods out there - As the reviews for this hood indicate, this is an excellent product. I was a little worried my head would be cold on a two-tank dive in 42 degree water, but it was not. The flow control option on the top of the hood worked very well, and I was surprised how comfortable and loose the hood was and still kept my head warm and comforable. A few caveats, though:
1 - Be sure to order the next size up if you are in doubt.
2 - The neoprene around the jaw area was annoying and covered my mouth. My dive partner had the same issue with the same hood. We cut the neoprene around the jaw area with scissors to our liking and it worked and made the hood much more comfortable.

Best of the Boots - I purchased a pair of Henderson 5mm "Goal Core" boots the other day. I own and have used 4 other top brand boots. I have been diving for over 10 years. The instant I slipped on the Henderson I knew I had the "top dog" on my feet. The gold core feels fabulous. The fit just happens to be perfect. My previous boots are a bit of a pain to remove when wet. The Henderson boots will be a pleasure to remove. The fit and feel of the boots in my fins is excellent. The boots feel like quality construction while on your feet and walking in them gives away the attention to detail that was employed by the designer. I am very happy with this product. | Henderson Gold Core 3mm Low Top Heavy Duty Boots Reviews

Nice shoes, but can slip off? - After using the high top booties for years, I finally went with these ankle boots. I love that they are so easy to get on/off, but I almost feel like they could slip off when Im using them. It doesnt seem too secure around the achilles tendon. Also, when I take my foot out of the fin, the shoe sometimes slips off my foot and stays in the fin! I believe I have the right size, but maybe my foot just isnt the right shape for these booties. They will work excellently for snorkeling though!

Henderson Gold Comfort - I absolutely love my Henderson Gold jumpsuit. The interior gold liner is so soft and comfortable it feels like Im wearing a soft leather jacket. It forms an almost perfect seal around my body and most of the time Im dry underneith. Is this a wetsuit or a drysuit? Another important factor is this suit does not stink after dives like typical wetsuits. I hate that horrid mildew smell some suits put off if they are not dried right away. I dont have that problem with the Henderson gold lining anti-microbal material. It does dry quickly but even after night dives when I could not dry in the sun it still did not stink. Disappointed in Scuba.com - Im sure the Henderson Gold 5mm I ordered will be great. I have been very impressed with everything from Henderson that I have gotten so far. However I cant say the same for scuba.com. Because of their late deliever of my purchase of the Henderson Gold wetsuit I was unable to take it on the trip that it was purchased for. So until later this spring I wont know for sure how well the Henderson "Gold" work. At that time I would be glad to submit a further report on how I judge the product I received LATE!!!!
