Synonymous with surfing and holder of countless world surfing titles Nat Young is one of the most influential and outspoken surfers of all time. Born and raised on the Northern beaches of Sydney, Australia, Nat won his first surfing world title in 1966 and his most recent in 1990. Nat is a true: ´´tribal elder´´ of the surfing community and his imput into the Bic Sport research and design team has been invaluable.
Bob Pearson is the head shaper of the renown Pearson Arrow Surfboard Company located in Santa cruz, California. Bob has shaped for many of the world´s best surfers over his 20 years shaping career and is one of the few shapers whose reputation for quality shapes spans over both short and longboard style surfboards. Bob´s extensive design knowledge brought to the range the 10´0´´ Noserider.
Gerard is regarded as one of Europe´s most respected shapers with over 20 years of shaping experience. Residing in the surf-rich southwest Coast of France, Gerard has oned his skills shaping longboards and shortboards for many of the country´s top surfers and for the demanding conditions of the world-class breaks in this region. His ability to transform intricate design concepts into immediate high-performance results has fuelled his reputation as a master surfboard craftsman. Since 1992, Gerard´s experience and design have been integral to the quality and performance of boards manufactured by Bic sport.
Inducted into the US, Eastcoast Surfing Hall of Fame in 1999. Peter has lived and surfed on the East Coast for more than 25 years and has held countless East Coast Surfing Titles over this time. He has been working as part of the Bic Sport Research and design team for just over 4 years. His design input has brought to us the latest addition to the Bic range, the 8´4´´ Magnum. |
