Not only will Scuba.com match AND beat any authorized dealer's price, but we also offer price protection against all unauthorized, gray-market dealers as well. Because these dealers do not provide a full manufacturers warranty with their products, we will match the price. If my order isn't what I expected, will there be any difficulty in making a return or exchange?

This is not a problem at all... All unused items may be returned or exchanged within 60 days of purchase. Additional shipping charges will be assessed on all exchange transactions. Any item that has been placed in water or shows wear will be considered used. Please fill out the RMA form that you find enclosed with your order, or you can find it at http://www.scuba.com/rma.asp, and return it with your product so that we may know what you want us to do.

I'm leaving for a trip next week. Will I have to put my gear together myself?

Scuba.com provides the convenience of shipping all orders completely assembled and ready to go. Assembling is performed by instructors, so when an order arrives at your door step, all one needs to do is to provide the water and the time for hours of fun.

"I am in charge of buying and maintaining equipment for my office.  We tend to be really hard on gear so I'm constantly ordering dive gear for the entire office.  Recently I ordered a pair of gloves for one of my co-workers from another website (I couldn't find the exact gloves he wanted on your site) and needed to exchange them for a smaller size.  It took nearly three weeks and two emails (the one rather pointed) to get a return authorization number so I could send in the gloves for an exchange.  Not only was their customer service representatives indifferent to the time it took to get the RAN to me, they also didn't seem to care when I informed them they'd lost my company's business...forever.

I have bought quite a few things from scuba.com and even when I've needed to make an exchange (or sometimes several exchanges to get the right fit), your staff has always been prompt in replying to my questions.  It's also such a relief to not have to worry about return authorization numbers, you make exchanges and returns so easy!  I always end up with high quality gear and great customer service every time I order from you guys.  Thanks so much for making my job easier.  In the future I'll buy any and all gear I can from you guys, even if it's not exactly what the person "had before".

"This is to the two great guys that have always been so kind & helpful to me.  You’ll know who you are: The first helped me get my Apollo bio split fins ~ after a gazillion questions ( and for the first pair, I picked YUM YUM YELLOW, can you say knucklehead????).He also advised me to get a Full, Yellow dive suit to go with my fins ………ha ha ha…..JUST KIDDING>So now I just had to order another pair ~ but this time in ‘basic black’ because it goes with everything (ha ha ha) – no, it’s because I was sick of being shark bait!  Besides, the yellow snappers thought I was their Grand Poobah and they were constantly swarming me. Yuck.  Thanks for all the help with the yellow dude.  Were you watching the experiments on Discovery or what?????      I still almost love you though    ;+)

The second person helped me get my Sea Gold defogger in record time ~ so thanks.  By the way, everyone else had just bought the highly inferior Psi500 defogger and they all ended up using my Sea Gold exclusively.  6 people voted that for Caribbean waters, Sea Gold is truly THE BEST.I just sent in my review for the split fins so check it out, although now that I think of it, it might show up as an e-mail response from Marty Daetwyler (my husband) so can you type in my name, it should say Martha Dee.  OK, here’s the good stuff, this is why I wrote to you.  REMEMBER: I truly am 'Chix of the Sea.'Saw a gazillion nurse sharks, 1 baby hammerhead (3’), had 2 reef sharks swim right between Marty and me ~ he “went wide” and I backed towards the shore but here's the best part:  5 minutes into the snorkel, at a VERY remote reef, had to moor the boat, got into the reef and in less than 5 minutes, I looked up from the staghorn coral and here comes a 10' to 11’ Tiger shark.  Even though I was wearing my Chicken of the Sea t-shirt, I actually stayed cool.  I touched my husband’s arm, and cool as a cucumber, said “shark”.  He was looking around at the bo ttom and so again, I said "shark" then he looked up and I pointed slowly straight ahead. He had thought I was talking about a nurse shark.  I learned that sharks can hear your heart beat from watching Discovery’s Shark Week so I really worked on keeping my composure.  I still can’t believe I was that cool, he could have had us in a nano-second.  The shark came up to about 15’ away (which felt like 2’ away) then turned to give us a (beautiful) full side profile, stopped, looked at us and then moved on.  Ended that reef tour for the day.  The bigger sharks are supposed to cruise on the OUTSIDE of the reef, not IN IT ~ and not a 2pm and certainly not a Tiger, and not that big in the reef.   Yikes.  Glad I had my lickety split fins (pun intended) to get back to the boat!!!!!

"I spoke with you recently having no luck getting help on mask selection from local dive shops. You asked me about my body proportions and what types of problems I've had with other masks. You recommended several options. I decided to go with the same mask (Platina) that the instructor I spoke with uses as he indicated his face was fairly narrow as is mine. While using it for the first time in Key Largo, very little water found its way into the mask. The little that did was easily expelled through the purge valve. Great Product.
