William Pearson, Instructor I admit it, as an instructor, I’m
spoiled and picky. I can have any
computer I want and what I want is a computer that will give me the Why? Two reasons. I’m either busy with students or I’m busy having a food time! The Aeris 750 GT is hoseless. Yes, I heard all of the gossip about the transmitter and how the display could go out. These are the same people who thought thy sky was falling. It’s just not so. I’ve put it through all the different conditions that a dive instructor encounters and it’s never failed me. Let’s face it folks, it’s not rocket science. It’s a simple low frequency transmitter. They’ve been around since Orson Wells broadcast, War of the Worlds. Here’s a big plus. Not only do you have information about how much air you have remaining, the computer automatically calculates how much air time you have, based on your breathing rate for that dive. Boy, is that handy! Some dives are just easier than others and a thousand pounds of air lasts a lot longer. The 750 GT gives it all to me on ONE SCREEN. No waiting until a certain screen comes up to give you the info you want. If all those benefits aren’t enough, the 750 GT also gives me my remaining bottom time as the lesser of nitrogen time or air remaining. How much safer can you get? How hard is it to use? I programmed it for all of my personal preferences in less than 15 minutes, (and I was a Political Science Major, if I can do it anyone can)! US, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean call toll free
