I recently purchased the Bare 5mm .Its my second bare wetsuit purchased from Scuba.com.The first lasted over 450 dives.I received the new Bare only to find it way to snug in the chest and arms.Returning it for exchange was a breeze.Scuba.com did more work than me to get the job done.I am now the happy owner of a wetsuit that fits. Thanks Scuba.com Dave Lewis Erie pa
|Rating: H2O Tri-View Frameless Mask
I purchased this mask as I was looking for something which had a larger FOV (field of view) and this mask does provide it. The Tri-View provides one of the best all around viewing masks that i have come across. This mask is also slightly larger than the standard sizes, which was the reason for my purchase. Im a big guy and most other masks cut close to my nose and the corners of my eyes. The closer the frame to your eyes restricts the side view. Hence my purchase of the mask. When trying it on, it seemed to fit real well. However upon diving with this mask i found myself on a constant mask clearing exercise. I could not get the mask to stay water-tight. every 3-5 mins i would have to clear the mask and try again. At first i thought it may be getting caught on my hood. On my second dive (my buddy now also aware), i tried again, however i had the same issues all over again. it just seemed that on closer inspection by my buddy while we were at around 60 ft, that the silicon seal would turn away from my face, as if it was too soft. I tried several times, to loosen/ tighten this mask, however i had to admit defeat, that this mask was not for me. Brilliant FOV but I had issues with the Skirt seal.
